jd_selective_dc_editor_v3.0.rbz What's New — v3.0 -All attributes in a single table: all editable TEXTBOX/LIST attributes found across the selection are displayed at once, eliminating one-at-a-time popups. -Smart multi-selection: attributes are shown even when only some selected components contain them, with a counter such as 3/5. Applying changes only affects components that actually contain that attribute. -Full group and nested component support: select a group, wrapper component, or nested element and the plugin recursively finds Dynamic Components at any depth. -Independent instances: improved component instance handling prevents changes to one instance from unintentionally affecting other copies. -Live auto-refresh: the editor remains open and automatically updates whenever the model selection changes, with no need to close and reopen it. -Improved Apply & Undo: Dynamic Component updates are handled more reliably within a single SketchUp Undo operation. -Extended timeout for complex operations: the Dynamic Components operation timeout has been increased to 30 seconds. -Improved performance: definition-level caching avoids repeatedly scanning identical sub-assemblies, attribute filtering uses a precompiled regular expression, and live refresh uses debouncing to prevent unnecessary rebuilds during rapid selection changes. -Better error handling: errors now display a message to the user and print the full backtrace to the Ruby console instead of failing silently. -Cleaner interface: only the user-facing attribute name is displayed; internal formula/attribute names are hidden. https://youtu.be/hOMfIjRIZac?is=J0YrocMXkSAOXABC

Then it is even more puzzling. It has to do with detecting the dialog is visible on screen.... Maybe the emulation of Mac does behave a Mac Intel for that.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a few Mac users who would like to beta test Terrain2Sketch. Terrain2Sketch is a macOS application I’ve developed to quickly convert GeoTIFF terrain data (DEM/DTM/DOM)into terrain models and import them directly into SketchUp. The beta is working well in my own testing, but now I need some fresh eyes to find the things I haven’t found myself. Here’s a short video showing Terrain2Sketch in action: https://youtu.be/SurAszSHoy8?si=ofxkDkcXzkXzgbuT SketchUp Terrain From 25×25m to 100×100m in Seconds SketchUp Terrain From 25×25m to 100×100m in Seconds If you use SketchUp on a Mac and work with terrain, I’d really appreciate your feedback. If you’re interested, reply here or send me a private message and I’ll send you the beta download. Thanks! Karl

How would this mythical Ruby code know the orientation of the guideline that you want it to draw ? There are an infinite number of lines passing through a guide-point. You can draw a new guideline using the Tape-Measure tool, that passes through a guide-point - but you need to give it some clues... So if you have two guide-points you can draw a guideline that passes between them, Of you have only one guide-point you need to pick a second point [e.g. on existing geometry] to give the guideline its orientation. Or you can pick an existing edge/line in the model to set the guidelines orientation and then pick the guide-point through which it should pass. None of this needs a script ??

@pixelcruncher Ta mate, great news and better when I find some automotive ies files. I am using colour as an emitter and point/spot lights which does not work tbh. Might be better with auto exposure deselected.

Your workflow is one of the ways many people exploring. Good for communicate with clients without starting 3D in details and applied materials. Got some examples [image: 1785925262900-spacely-ai-standard-20260805101939-nz7km.png] [image: 1785925263021-spacely-ai-standard-20260805101933-re0ls.png] [image: 1785925263157-spacely-ai-standard-20260805101913-e8qr9.png]

The point I am making with these renders is, that with a SICK pc (Not in the good meaning of the word), I can get these results - Rayscaper and a decent pc will fly.
