Let's hope for a lasting peace, then people may travel freely. I can not figure out why our world is like this now.

TIG Weld seems to be working fine in SU2026 for me. I also use Eneroth AutoWeld which will weld any edges that can be welded in a selection.

As it turns out, using the Extension Manager did not really uninstall the Trimble Scan Essentials plugin. However, do to some replies from others, I did get the issue resolved. OK, I finally got everything setup correctly now. It was kind of an awkward process but here is what I did: First I uninstalled 2026 Then I made sure all plugins were up to date in 2025 Then I clicked on the check for update in 2025 Now I ran the update option in 2025 to install 2026 When the process for installing 2026 ran, I deselected the Trimble Scan Essentials, Revit Importer and V-Ray Everything is now running fine and the Trimble Scan Essentials is finally gone and all of my plugins are installed and things are now the way I want them. Once again, I really want to thank everyone (on the SketchUp and SketchUcation forums) for the replies and insight of how to get things going correctly again. As I said in the original post, I have been gone for a while. Now I can get back to using SketchUp (latest version) again.

Good to meet you @pixelcruncher If you have a look at the video I linked to in my previous comment, it's very easy. You just describe it with words, and it doesn't affect the rest of the render. ComfyUI is a tool that helps you work with AI models, so you'd need to train a model (e.g. Qwen or Seedream) to do these kinds of operations for you precisely. Yes, we do have an API (you can test it here https://rapidapi.com/myarchitectai-team-myarchitectai-team-default/api/architecture-rendering-api) but we didn't include the editing tools in it yet as they're still in beta.

Thank you mates. As mentioned, I tried to stand at the balancing point... Somewhere, I think is the optimum of function, form, construction, psychology, etc. Biomimicry is really powerful, agreed.

There have always been monumental child actors and all I can say is, as long as they are protected better than in the past, great. Some of the topics addressed and the pressures of deeper character roles can play havoc. I believe Robin Williams had huge issues getting out of character for one and Bob Hoskins had to have therapy after "Who framed Roger rabbit". What is next? The actual conduct of some kids in trw bothers me, lots. Even something like ten years ago on a footpath that used to be a country road, I was confronted by a dozen kids with a knife and the attitude was not just that they would be OK, too young, but would be shown to be brave. There is a readiness to use violence too easily. Would we have the same issue if guns were easier to obtain as the USA? The hedonistic attitude that girls are less than boys? Well done to everyone involved with the film, making us cogitate on this and perhaps come back from the brink. Tomorrow I shall bring you a joke to make up for this morbid post. Or describe one of my Fud recipe's which is almost as good. Honest.......

i.e. the pointer is lost when the Rectangle tool is working. Also, I have no clue if I must be in edit mode and then use pull/push or it automatically starts. By the way, I tried both and did not get any response, it says you must hover over a face and then use the pull/push tool, yet it does not work...

Artificial intelligence? More like machine learning, little applets put together with a fancy title. Mathematical algorithms do not alone, intelligence make but, marketing is a powerful thing and creates the Emperors new clothes on an almost daily basis. Like always, buyer beware. Careful of the nano bananas, the Gibbons will go all funky on that.

Water, energy, ai and mining craptic currency. We know how bad the situation on this, our only lifeboat is but business, gets to do whatever the chunk it likes while we get preached to and fleeced. THIS new emperors new clothes stuff is properly toxic.

BTW, all these private dna screening services that are going around? Do you really think the data is out of bounds to insurance companies? Do you really think that it is not being used to develop policy and pricing strategies for the future? Wow.

In any event most of my work is drafting and little involves rendering jobs. I unsubscribed from Upwork Plus and raised my base rate back to what a freelance drafter with my experience should earn in the USA and not unskilled labor wages. That would be $50/hour. Here's a link to my Facebook professional page which is going nowhere even when I pay for an ad to run for a week. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61578027453574

Closest I came to that was putting books etc in my folks shed/locker. Mind you, the ol' mum did phone and ask if I had read the books. "Good". "WHY"? "I gave them all to the charity shop, but at least you have read them". Some of those reference books were in the £200 range when I bought them........
