@L-i-am said in Clothworks and subD: @Rich-O-Brien Very good result. When you build a model for subD do you start with a plane, extrude the face, then scale rotate and move that plane, and on and on to create the quads. Is that the basic way to create the the model for subD? Not really. I'd make the most primitive silhouette possible... [image: 1737214786259-1bfce7c1-fd89-41ed-b11b-41aa3072d694-image.png] Then I add some loops and begin shifting them about to get some type of crude volume... [image: 1737214942023-5e947dd6-e673-4d4f-a0e9-060ef3cb0ce3-image.png] It's easy if you start with a very crude silhouette to begin with then just iterate from there. Saving snapshots as you go.

Quite au fait with saturated and non saturated fats mate. I agree totally as the cardiac and stroke threat is real especially when we get on in life. Nothing is quite so simple as it first appears but this does seem to be a piece of kit that just works. I did the Turkey crown and roast veggies in a little under an hour and both heating zones 'Synch' so they are ready at the same time. A rather handy piece of programming inho. I will hopefully improve as I gain expeirence but frankly, I am, very happy to NOT have a standard oven.

@L-i-am As Rich intimated, "Rather you than me, Ghunga Din". That being said, I think you will pull it off if anyone can.

I spent some time finalizing and publishing a new short Skillshare course. This is after grand masters; James Fletcher-Watson and Edward Seago. I have tried to simplify and describe everything in detail: https://www.skillshare.com/en/r/user/majid https://www.skillshare.com/en/classes/after-watercolor-masters-james-fletcher-watson-and-edward-seago/1694702972?via=search-layout-grid [image: 1732316674773-poster-resized.jpg]

@Rich-O-Brien said in Missy the missing Cat (very funny Mike): @L-i-am do we know if she found Missy? Missy was found alive but only just, she was found in the veggie compartment of a beer fridge ( In Australia that is a fridge in the garage just for beers when you have a party or BBQ) she was found alive but with severe hypothermia.

@Rich-O-Brien said in Genius small house: Wonder how these manage high winds/storms etc? I think the sturdiness of shipping containers is where the benefits lie. They travel the oceans. This is a quote, one of many items online about this subject "Container homes are engineered to stand their ground against strong winds. The sturdy steel construction of shipping containers provides a robust framework that can resist powerful gusts" I know what you mean though. There is potential for wind to get under the structure. Would be a simple task to get a structural engineer to draw up some specs' These containers have A twistlock or twist lock, on each corner just attach suitable footing to these I am sure the structural integrity would be up to the task.
