ATM, there are two windows both on the west (Right) of this render. You may see on. Seeing as I do not 'do' window ledges, the window openings are not readily apparent. There is a logic to this. I frankly got fed up to my molars with females mostly, putting ornaments or flowers on ANY flat surface. I like to be able to open windows without relocating tat every time. I know, fully paid up member of the annoyed ol' git fraternity/club. I am looking at a method to introduce my favourite natural light system here, the sun/solar tube. I shall have to see how effective it will be.

In order to get this topic back on track, I have created a new thread to discuss the materials issue(s). Here is a link to that thread https://community.sketchucation.com/topic/164671/create-new-or-adjust-materials

OK, local emergencies aside, some time to look into moving this forwards and hoo nose, finish it maybe. I will have to change up the dragon and some geometry is proving to challenge rolled marbles. [image: 1765331140522-4-1000s-1909-x-984-777578tri-17s-gpu.png]

OK, had an issue with what seemed to be lost textures but, was a return to back face issues. Something I have not seen for a while now. Probably a Rayscaper issue but not the end of the world, I usually check these things as a rule. This one bloody unit was an import and I missed the use of back face in one cabinet door. Anyway, the downstairs is cramped but not really that tight when seating is deflated/stored and the folding dining table/chairs can be brought out for a meal with friends. A drop down cinema type screen for film night with snacks easily catered for. Hot water is as designed via a Quooker type system to save space and improve economy. Heating via passive home and possibly a ground pump but passive should not need that really. Shower is electric and solar panels on the roof to power it. A pull out drawer under the stairs for batteries. No boiler, gas or electric will save space and energy uptake. I am considering uploading the bare bones as a challenge but, more on that later. @tuna1957 That is a common theme for most of us I believe. I go a bit cold when a model frustrates or I just lose motivation. Later I go on and try again.

Sorry, wanting to see how closely, or not, the photoreal mat setting in Sketchup can approximate to a render. Not too badly for folk who do not want the added complexity of a render program. Approximating a studio might prove useful. Curiosity alone.

I do not have a smart phone, it matches me for stoopid and I use it as a phone only. I am sure there are folk here with a Whyphone who can describe the process. I found this with a brief search. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/iphone/iph864a938de/ios

I saw this my immediate thought tha having a two car garage in this day and age would be a practical but quickly realised that having a double garage door on the frontage would not work with the proportions of a Craftsman home. Very nicely done mate you nailed this
