so, on the white "paper" space you would have a list (slots) for entering text "kitchen light", "kitchen outlet", "garage door", "clothes washer", "clothes dryer" etc and add some parameters like voltage, amperage, single, dual, etc? "clothes dryer", 240V, 30A, SINGLE -> voltage logic would span a 240V across both busses? "air conditioner", 240V, 50A, DUAL -> would have two 240V splitting 25A across each for the air handler and compressor? "kitchen lights", 120V, 20A, DUAL -> split two 10A circuits on single breaker (dual switches) for overhead and under counter lights to save breaker slots etc

You seemingly haven't installed it from its RBZ. If you simply copy the ../Plugins/HouseBuilder_extension.RB file over to the newer SketchUp version it misses the images to make the toolbar-buttons [and worse!]... Unfortunately the original author was in the dim past [20years ago] and made a half-baked extension loader file, and he didn't give his subfolder the same name as the RB file. The new[ish] auto-migration tool assumes this file/folder naming convention and so it misses out copying the subfolder of images [and some other vital support files that are in that folder]. To fix it you need to find the whole HouseBuilder folder [and its contents intact] in your older version's Plugins folder and copy that whole folder over into the newer SketchUp version's Plugins folder. When you startup SketchUp it should now find the subfolder and load the buttons' images and the other vital support files...

Version 4.2.0 - 12.22.2025 Updated the opening and closing algorithm for all (panel) garage doors. [image: 1766392868909-garagedoor_opening3.gif] Not a customer request, just an interesting kinematic challenge that I felt like addressing at some point. I found the previous garage door opening animation largely unsatisfactory for panel doors like these. Hopefully you can indulge me with a little gold plating... now back to the real stuff.

Also, (only because I'm eagerly anticipating the plumbing release) have you considered crowdsourcing the modeling on these? Create a list on design.medeek.com that can be checked off when you receive a model that matches your requirements?

After the Beam calculator I need to put together the post/column calculator, then the footing calculator, then the shear wall calculator and then maybe the FTAO shearwall calculator.

Try visiting the owner's website and follow the instructions carefully. The things you need to select to get the tool to work is a little complicated, but once you understand it it's pretty straightforward...

There is a very old bug, the Vignette Stripe doesn't stay where you put it - after SU restart, it will reset its position to the default, whether you lock it or not, it will do the same thing. And another one (but i think this one may not have a solution), i have two Favorites Palettes that i use in compact mode as toolbars (horizontal stripes, permanently open), every time you minimize and maximize the SU window, these Palettes navigate about 1-2 mm to the left, until eventually you have to move them back..., and so on. Also, the same behaviour if they are locked or unlocked. I use mainly SU 2023, in W11. None of this happened in SU 2022 (and SU 2023), before the LOTT update to be fully compatible with SU 2024.
