I would like to offer to help with work getting it updated. I wrote the infamous plugin sph4bar in 2006 which models spherical 4 bar mechanisms. I also wrote GeoSketch, a plugin used by aerospace companies.

In a previous life, I worked for Cadsi, and integrated DADS (Dynamic Analysis and Design System) in to CAD systems such as CATIA and Ideas Master Series.

Now I am retired and have time to kill.

Your plugin is amazing, I can't imagine further use of SU without it. Ot perfectly optimizes the workspace, "menu" is an integral part of it. Maybe we can help? I suggest, just like you, to make a request to the developers of SU.

It fully depends on the Sketchup developers. I filed the requests some time ago.
But, frankly, no idea....

Hi Fredo. Perhaps you misunderstood me. I wanted to see a video in which, with the help of a script from the author of panixida, it will be possible to use the command menu. The menu is a very convenient tool, its absence does not allow me to switch to SU2023.

I have a workaround for this.
Assign some weird shortcut to your menu item (I say "weird" because maybe you don't want to waste some available handy keyboard shortcut for this).
Then create a ruby script button and type in the following:

Insert your shortcut between quotes using the "Microsoft sendkeys" syntax, you can find the reference at this link:

Here's an example.. this one would be equivalent to press "Ctrl+Shift+Alt+F11" each time you hit the toolbar button.
