@huhuwi If your trial has expired then you need a license if you want to continue to use it.

This one doesn't work - everything seems to be fine, but at a later time, when I open the model (second or third time...), I'm able to delete all the guides, although Fredo Guides report them (and show them) as being locked.
Tried and tested in SU 2022, 2023, and 2024.!

This extension is one and only, but until it is fixed I'm using EA Locked Guide, which works pretty well, but is infinitely simpler than Fredo Guides.

@Rich-O-Brien I can't see an option anywhere just to turn off the move tool. The move tool makes the whole model transparent which is a big problem when working with huge files.

This is perhaps a problem for you since a license is required to use the extension.

Hi @Didier-Bur, thank you for the tool. Is it possible to make <double line from selection> to work with line on a surface? I am trying to use tool to create grooves on a surface from a single line. My hack now is to use it to create a "groove" or Ridge with negative or positive values and join one by one to surfaces that I need a groove.

I would like to offer to help with work getting MSPhysics updated. I wrote the infamous plugin sph4bar in 2006 which models spherical 4 bar mechanisms. I also wrote GeoSketch, a plugin used by aerospace companies.

In a previous life, I worked for Cadsi, where I integrated DADS (Dynamic Analysis and Design System) into CAD systems such as CATIA and Ideas Master Series.

Now I am retired and have time to kill.

Thank you for the quick reply! Strangely the extension store told me all plugins are up to date, but only when I searched fir the plugin again it gave me the option to install the newer version.

So I know this is an old topic but maybe someone can help me. I have a solid entity with 1440 cu ft of volume shown when I check on entity info.

I need to adjust this volume along a specific axis maintaining relative dimensions so slicer seemed like a perfect tool to do this. It worked great slicing up the volume along the axis in 2" slices.

I then wanted to get the volume of each slice. No can do. All the slices are grouped as a component so I exploded that component. I clicked on one and no volume information. So I thought, well maybe it's got to be a group. I exploded the individual slice and then grouped it. Still no volume info. So one more try I exploded once more, selected all connected and grouped again. Still no volume information.

Am I missing something?

thanks for this great plugin.
And sorry for reviving such an old topic but I figured out it won't work if you have some annotation in your model (took me some time to find this out).
The error occurs in copyEntities (around line 120 in the code) but I don't have the knowledge to modify the code to avoid such an unexpected behavior.
Maybe someone here could improve the code ?
Or at least point me on the good direction ?
Even if I know nothing about ruby coding...

All of the 3 seats are allocated, presumably using your old computer[s] details.
You need to free up the seats so that you can reactivate them for your new computer[s].
If you have the latest versions of the extension and the SketchUcation toolset [for the licensing] installed, and SketchUp restarted to sync, you should be able to do this using the submenu items for the extension under the Tools menu.
You can also manage each of your licenses by logging in to SketchUcation.com and using the menu item PluginStore > My Licenses... page...

Guys, this tool is exceptional, yet (instead of complaining about it), you should give yourself the chance to try at least for 3 weeks a Space Mouse (or 3D Mouse) from 3D Connexion.
No opinion from YouTube (or from yourself) doesn't weigh as much as 3 weeks of day-to-day use of this device - 3 weeks is the minimum your brain needs to understand and use this device, and after that, you will ask yourself how could you ever work without it, and you will never work without it (i have 3 of them).
This device is priceless.!

@Dan-Rathbun There si also another one (maybe with more pleasant UI), component_edit_notify...

@TIG Maybe somebody can do something about it, because right now we have no option to convert construction lines to edges (the reverse it is possible, at least with Curvizard).
I know only one option (DBur Guide Tools) but it can do only one line at a time....
