You could do this sort of thing with Profile Builder 3 or you could use Divide CPoint which is available in the Plugin Store. I'd just make a stud component and copy it at the desired interval. That would save some time and effort. That also doesn't require an extension although the ninja thing would be to use the stud as a component in an assembly and use Profile Builder 3 to place them.

The plugin is touted as free, and it is a way this appears in the warehouse website. It is not fair. For free - You get almost nothing. If You want create some window and check the quality of profiles etc, you have to pay 100USD! For 100USD is just unprofitable. If You have to pay for each building component plugin 100USD, you wouln't earn your bread. It is much better to use sketchup importer for autocad bim libraries provided by windows producers. Draw double line fails to stay when using a double click or esc to terminate. bug splat just exits SU and ask for a report. I think I now understand your issue better... Whether a section-plane appears in a scene-tab or not, is controlled by each scene-tab's settings. If if is set up right it should show the section-cut in the newly added elev-tag scene tabs - which will have been copied from the tab's settings current when they get made... To add a missing section-cut to a elev-tag's new scene-tab you simply need to activate the section cuts' visibility and activate the desire cut [then hide the scene-tabs], then remember to update the relevant section-tab to see the section. You scene setting's can be set up to NOT copy many settings over, check yours are set up as you need them... I don't that this has ever been more 'automated' in this toolset...

Thanks for remaining about Artisan and TT_vertex! Sandbox and native SU tools quite replace it for me do not obstruct sketchup UI, It does not give that goal to use SOFT SELECTION with native moove/rotate/scale clear and effective tools =(. And do not solve problem of bezier curve and nurbs mode editing in SU! Artisan fits for organic modeling. Soft selection + moove/rotate/scale could be more universal, simple and presize editing ability. I asked Thom_Thom to include SoftSelectionWithinPreselection ability to TT_vertex but no luck! If Vertex tool have such tool there would be reason to by it (for me).

After installing any complex toolsets - especially when 'libs' are involved - restart SketchUp to ensure that everything gets synced. Also note the tools' usage notes, which explain where these tools appear in the menu-list and toolbars etc...

External and Internal OK that work like that : verso simple color Selection by Material (the simple color) Menu Material / Edit / use image of Texture et voilà Click image for animation!
