    A quick tip on the settings I used for the poly reducer. It told me there were around 14000 faces and I set the target at 6000, it came in at high 5000s.

Then, the first time you use the plugin, the rest of the code is loaded, which is usually fast and imperceptible. By the way, if you have some of my plugins loaded, could you go to Window > LibFredo6 Settings...> Performance and post a snapshot of the dialog box showing the load times.

    The fix for that is to model properly ! Alternatively check norm=face.normal, then norm.z if it's <0 then norm.reverse!

    Box, After having changed the position of the surface from horizontal to vertical, and changed the path from pointing downwards at an angle of about 42° to 0°, I also used the Scale tool to increase the size of the whole thing by 100; this appeared to make the FollowMeAndKeep Extension do what I wanted. Then I used the Scale tool to take me back to the original size; all was good. So, I have finally solved my problem and once again thank everyone for their help and suggestions. johnmtb

    I discovered this gem too late.. It works for me in Sketchup 2019. Too bad it is not fully developed and looks abandoned. IT can be useful, even as in but, unfortunately, in a very limited way.
