Wow. I did not know you could do that! The major limitation is that it only downloads the 12 items that show up in the search results at each time. Anyway to have the search show more results? The collection has over 6k components. I have contacted the modeler and he didn't seem accommodating to zip the files and upload them to a FTP.

Select the channels you want in the options Render to File - make sure to use EXR and not VRIMG Make sure you have EXR PRO Tools installed in Photoshop (MUST HAVE 64 bit from what I understand. For matching photos from digital cameras (without using PhotoMatch) I've been using conversion tables that convert the digital lens to 35mm and that seem to work. But note that SU might some times work on the vertical size instead of the horizontal or diagonal size - and it's pretty much impossible to tell.

No crashes on any of the machines on our office - even with render region.

Reverse question - is there a way to exclude 100% transparent material from the material ID render ? Say I have a texture of a tree where the foliage is opaque and an alpha channel masks what's not needed. Material ID still considers the transparent surface as a different material. it is a nice reminder not to give the glass any thickness, when you're doing an interior shot. however i would still opt for giving the glass thickness, when you're doing a shot from exterior (double faded reflections in the windows).
