    Hey guys I am desperate for very high resolution/quality satellite maps, I use Placemaker and I also use Nearmap but the resolution is not that great, I have tried using AI to upscale but that too does not really solve my issues. Is there another solution?

    please up load your model however a simple method is to split a counter into sections with if statements basic handle turn, then door.skp

    @Dave-R yes joint P/P , not playing nicely , I select the whole surface but only a part of pulls out , the inner skin seems to be coming through the outer one I used the first curviloft , the head that's split in slices ill try your idea with the lines

    Hardware wears out and software updates change things. When using old software that isn't being updated you need to look at the things that are changing.

    @icorrea I don't think it has anything to do with the number of curves in your model. It's a fairly simple one. I agree with Rich. If you are having problems it's most likely the graphics card or its drivers. What version of SketchUp are you using? Share a screen shot of what you see. This is what I'm seeing. A few exposed back faces (blue) but no problem working in the model. [image: 1763125116883-glitching.gif]

    @MLUY you could select all the geometry and do the same thing. You'll only soften edges in which the angle between face normals is less than or equal to the angle set in the Soften Edges panel.

    @Mike-Amos Yep. Agreed, many of the tutorial videos are so fast.... not well organized, messy... this is the way I learned the Blender modeling: Targeted the toolbars, I see in Layout and Editing UI, read the document, learned one tool at a time. (if needed, watched Youtube), moved to the next tool. Otherwise, it takes ages and seems hard (and it is to be honest). If they also do not adopt the new trend, I think will vanish as well.

    If you change it does performance improve? Vector looks great in the viewport but it’s not ideal to work with it.

    @pavulon5 Might be a permissions issue. Repair your SketchUp install by downloading the SketchUp installer. Right-click the .exe and choose Run as Admin and choose Repair when prompted If your device is named using non-alphanumeric characters, áéíóú etc, please change it to only use alphanumeric. Other option is to go to C:\Users\SomeName\AppData\Local\SCF Licenses and delete your signature file. Restart SketchUp to generate a new one and try license. The error is related to the signature file.
