it will certainly run on this machine. it runs on much weaker ones too. however, it always advisable to get more RAM and a more potent graphics card. it seems that the 9400 card shares memory with the system and this is not the best for rendering.

Another I that I think has always happened with section planes is that they obscure your model a lot of the "hide rest of model" slider in the model info/components dialog is towards the left. This happens when the section cut itself is outside of the current group I am working on. It goes from being something like an 80% transparent white surface when the "hide rest of model" slider is at the right, to an 0% transparent grey surface when the "hide rest of model" is at the left. Of course you can keep the slider at the right, or turn of the section plane, but would be nice to keep it but always have it mostly transparent. Does anyone run into this as an issue, or does it not affect anyone's work? David

Hi Sheir, hi folks. Very good result for a first animation. The only problem I see, unless my eyes play a trick on me, is that the model seems to float a few centimeters over the ground plane where all the shadows can be seen. For example, there is a gap between the car tires and the ground as well as between the base of the columns and the ground. Try moving the whole model on the ground plane. And, by the way, welcome to SCF and keep up the good work.

Question is, how are you expecting this to work for you, as the designer of the components? Are you looking for something that let you just create a DC and have the server read and interpret how the DC is configured and offer a custom UI to the user of the website that will in return build a "dumb" component?
