I did contact Mootools Techsupport and they responded: "No there is no way to export using V8 version. This is an idea to add to an upcoming version" But I can work with my convoluted path for now to get these results. It's been a hit and miss search for quite a while so this is progress-for sure! @ntxdave said: Depending on what you want to do, you could look at TIG's 2D Tools plugin but there are some restrictions on how you use it. sure it depends on what I need to do... It was a 2D drawing for clarity. Well, I know that SU isn't primarily focused on that. It's about understanding and acceptance of philosophy. thanks for all the responses guys greetings Peter

The problem is that copying glued components from one face to the other requires you to pick a reference point wich MUST be on the original face. COPY+PASTE uses the point with the minimum Z, X and Y of your component's bounding box as a reference point. Sometimes that point is on the original face plane sometimes it's not. So, when you paste it on the landing plane, sometimes it glues sometimes it doesn't. Either follow what Dave says or simply use MOVE+CTRL to copy with an accurate reference point.

Hi Deborah. I use TurboCad Pro 2015 and it helps if you move everything to layer 0 in TC before saving as DWG for SketchUp import. I tried it on your file and it works better than if you don't. I noticed it has not imported walls but not sure what else. When SketchUp opens the file it show a statistical report on items not imported before you can open it, if this is any help. I've attached some screenshots of my attempts to import from TC to SU. One with all layers as is, and one where I moved most to Layer 0. Some layers caused havoc when I tried to move them (Appliances) and crashed TC so not sure what is going on there. I suspect importing the walls might have something to do with x-refs but can't be sure. If you go onto TC forum (http://forums.turbocad.com/) you will find heaps of info on exporting files, bit too much for my liking. Hope this was of some help. Let me know if you have success. It would be nice to be able to share drawings between apps but like all things these days, it ain't simple. Good luck. [image: p0kc_TC_DWG_ImportResultsSS.jpg]

Thanks Didier, I actually do have that plugin (it is a great time saver!) and it was the first thing I tried after the fog disappeared. What I did not realize though is while my view appeared to be the same my cameras were way different in distance to there respective targets, so the fog planes were copied but they were not showing up because the fog planes are based on my "off" camera location. Thanks!

Assuming the extensions were installed correctly and they are shown as active in Preferences>Extensions, you should be able to turn on their toolbars in View>Toolbars. I don't use the Smustard Weld extension but just installed it to check that the toolbar shows in SU2016 and it does show up just fine. [image: IGPm_Screenshot-7_16_20168_52_03AM.png] How did you install these extensions and where did you install them? Did you look in the right place in the list of toolbars? Eneroth 3D Rotate shows up as 3D Rotate and Smustard Weld shows up as Smustard.

If you PM me the RBZ I'll also scrutinize it... Incidentally, do you have your Preferences > Extensions Loading Policy set to 'Unrestricted'...

@garystan, I invite you to look at this thread: Challenge In particular, look at the document posted by Pilou in the 2nd post in the thread. I think you will find it is an excellent explanation of what you are trying to accomplish.
