      Hi everybody :

                Hopefully, this is the right place for this.
                My question is......how do I create a drinking glass, with the appearance of having liquid in the glass ?   The picture shows the method I use to create the glass.  Of course, the "shape" shown is a simplified example.

        of course the use of material settings or presets within your used renderer, such as glass, solid glass or liquid play major role for this task ...

        BTW - your shown sketch is the right start πŸ‘ than add an other rotated geometry for the liquid inside the glass...

          Does not more easy to select a perimeter then click the surface? With
          I don't understand the use of Ctrl ?

            In particular, look at the document posted by Pilou in the 2nd post in the thread. I think you will find it is an excellent explanation of what you are trying to accomplish.
