Make it a component and save it to a component collection, then select and place it from the component panel whenever you need it.

Hey guys I am desperate for very high resolution/quality satellite maps, I use Placemaker and I also use Nearmap but the resolution is not that great, I have tried using AI to upscale but that too does not really solve my issues. Is there another solution?

Thanks for confirming. From the model already intersected, I couldn't tell 100% sure (as I mentioned above).

I did it by hand. I just made one full coil, then copied and pasted it to make a full series of coils. I've never tried any of the helix rubies. They do seem useful though, Chris

Hi folks. SU cannot close a face when one side is less than 1 mm approx (1/16 inch). Of course, with a 4 mm diameter sphere you will end up with very small facets and these will not close. Simply pretend that your sphere is 400 mm in diameter and then, after you have drawn it, scale it down by a factor of 0.01. Just ideas.

When V-Ray 2 comes out with Proxy objects this will be very nice. Though, without proxy rendering this would be too much for a scene unless the scene is only a couple of them shrubberies. I really can't wait for VfSU2 so I can use models like that. It looks really good!

Thank you, I found them. I did take the steps to select the texture in the tool pallette then try to edit it. They still weren't there. I then, uh um, extended the top half of the palette and found them there. Sometimes it so simple, yet so far away. I figured all options in that section would have been displayed. They have been before. They just, just disappeared. Thank you for your advice. Z

Ah, the old SU6 bonus packs are available. I needed some of the very low poly cars for some quick and dirty sketching.

When youve got the brush out you can replace every instance of a texture in your model by holding shift when you paint a surface. Im not entirely sure how it would work with textures within a component, though, so you'd have to do a little playing around.

It is a good idea, and will be put to use. Something like the following is how it might fit into what I have already: Animation.add('fog', start_value, end_value, duration (frames or seconds), easing_function) Animation.add (...) Animation.play

@gaieus said: If you just type the number (as Remus suggests), it will set the degree. You can also give the value in focal length if you type mm(millimetre) after the number. If you set the focal length in mm you will afterwards still set the focal length in mm. Doesn't seem to revert back. No in my experience anyway...
