There's the plist file. It may require a reinstall, though. I think you could install over the existing copy so you don't lose your plugins and such.

Thanks Charly, that was tried Thanks Dave, the style revert worked. Before you posted that reply I found I could copy & paste to a new Sketchup window and the problem goes away. I realize now that was because the model was using a fresh uncorrupted style.

Happened to me also. Try changing the icon by right click. Didn't work but all of sudden one day it came back. Not much help but you're not alone.

Wouldn't the most straight forward way be to, shape the sphere then take one longitudinal segment as a starting point and draw the shapes you want, extrude them and subdivide/smooth. Make that a component and rotate array it.

when you convert a large group to single components you then have a number of components with different names( usually numbered) and if you know all of those are the same use the component browser replace capability to then replace selected. Nothing new been around for years.

Looks like you do have a 1 gig card. here's our two cards compared. remember that I have two of them and that mine are like 4-5 years old and pretty outdated. if you have an extra $300 bucks laying around, a GTX 770 would be smokin fast. And thank you. It appears that google translator did a fine job. I understood what you wrote. While I waited, I went looking for that "portaombrelli" by Google Images using "umbrella stand". Finally found it toward the end of the large collection of images. There were some very interesting alternate designs to be viewed.

One possibility is to load your backdrop geometry, bake it into a background image and then use that with the foreground geometry.

For all replacement of Components (randomly or not) try the fabulous Replacement Random Components by Sdmitch!
