    Hey guys I am desperate for very high resolution/quality satellite maps, I use Placemaker and I also use Nearmap but the resolution is not that great, I have tried using AI to upscale but that too does not really solve my issues. Is there another solution?

    Hey Mike, I'm sure you figured this out already, but when you first create the attribute type a number with the inch mark like 0" or 0' in the value box and hit enter. This will set the unit for that attribute to inches. This only works for the first time a value is entered. After that first initial value, you will need to use the attribute info dialog to make changes. In addition, you can use 0 to set it to text (not "Default: Text") and 0cm to set it to centimeters. If anyone knows a shortcut for setting the unit to Decimal Number, I would love to hear it!

    ok - I found the corrupt file in my work pc recycle bin. apply fredoscale and use the 'box stretch to target' option. click the origin onto one of the leg's baseplate and you should see strange wireframe effects take place as you stretch/collapse the component.     Thanks Ocean & Casca, yes I have looked at Plant factory and will check Speedtree, actually I'm not too concern about something a bit pricey as long as is good, widely used and not too complicate to learn. Does proxy in sketchup solve the problem even if I use many different plants of 15mb + each? to be honest I have not used the new vray 2.0 yet. Will be nice to make like a poll to see what people here are using to deal with photorealistic vegetation.

    BugSplat reports do go directly to Trimble, but we don't personally contact each user who crashes - the reports are mostly used to pull out the "most common" issues. However, if you put a name or email address on the report, and then post in the SketchUp forum, I (or someone else) can look up the crash report and may be able to offer insight. Thanks, Marc

I think since I packed all the levels of the building back into the shell, that problem is solved due to everything being more localized. But I wouldn't think 800 feet should be too far.     Do you know there's absolutely nothing wrong with the file? Can you split out a chunk of it and import that?
