Cannot select text box!

Ok.... This is driving me crazy and there's probably a very simple solution to it! Placed text on a slab (see screenshot - the TOF text) - by accident on the same layer... want to select it now and put it on its own layer but cannot figure out how to select it!??? Tried lassoing, can't click directly on it, if I keep trying it will eventually select the face of the slab... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What if you hide the face temporarily? Or switch to Wireframe face style? Can you get it then?
Or can you switch to Perspective and orbit to see the text by itself?

Have you tried this? : window/model info/text/select all screen text.

gilles makes a good point. You could then use Entity Info to change the layer association for the text.

Ha - Gilles suggestion worked but I had to select all leader text. Thx guys.
