I'd import that into Blender and try using either a Decimate or Remesh modifier to reduce the point count to get something usable in SketchUp. You also may have many duplicate points in that mesh which would cause chaos in SketchUp so some cleaning would be needed in that area too. I tried importing a 64,000kb monochrome .dae into Sketchup and that was completed within 30 seconds or so, but working with it was pretty much impossible. I tried running both a cleanup and converting triangular mesh to quad, but both failed. I've previously imported a small 3D scan of a room complete with textures as a .glb from an ipad and that worked great, but anything beyond that is a world of pain.

For the native tools, I did not change the icons. So you get the old ones. I don't think I will update them.

Could you show us what you are working with? The model as it stands

@panixia Normally that is my workflow as well. Everything goes to "Untagged". In this case, I got a .dwg site plan with all kinds of information and the existing tags were the only way for me to know what was what. So I was picking each tag, selecting the geometry, re-tagging it to "Untagged" and then grouping it and putting it on my own tag system. There was a 2d topo map that I did convert but they also provided an elevation accurate set of topo lines that forgot to process. I just grouped it and then went straight to toposhaper. I was in a rush I think. That group was also inside another group. Solution was as @fredo6 said, put the group by itself, fixed the geometry tagging and then run the tool. Have a nice healthy terrain now.

The new version seems to be paid from what I see, I'd very much prefer the free one. Classic JPP fails on SketchUp 2018 and above because of changes to the ruby API. It is available for anyone on older versions of SketchUp.

Please describe accurately what does not work. Otherwise, it is difficult to help. Possibly, open the Ruby console before launching the plugin to catch potential errors.

Did you restart SketchUp? Are there any errors in the Ruby Console?

Sorry for coming late to the party, but what a fastastic plugin ! This tool has the potential to be developed to a fullworthy 2D CAD plugin for Sketchup. My wish list: -user can place of the 2D plane, like for elevations, aligned to surfaces, etc -dimensjons in 2D plane -annotation text with leader line

Bonjour Fredo, Merci pour ce super plugin. J'ai un problème lorsque je veux faire un rendu Vray sur le cloud avec Animator. Animator crée un fichier d'export .vrscene que j'uploade sur Chaos Cloud. Mais à chaque fois l'export fait disparaitre le relief des textures (le bump). Dans mon rendu il y a un plan d'eau avec un bump, et sur le rendu le relief de l'eau disparait, il n'y a plus qu'un miroir plat qui reflete le ciel. Merci beaucoup

I had one last thing to try clicking and it seemed to do the trick, I deselected the 'Auto' option next to the Vector/Hybrid/Raster drop down and then reselected it, and that's done the trick.
