Is there a legal way to use SU 2023 and SU 2022? As far as I can tell, since 2022 they went full subscription.. and with subscription you can only install the last 3 versions (so currently 2024/25/26). For this exact reason in the plugins I'm developing I'm supporting all the way down to Sketchup 2017 (which was the last free version) and I try to make sure that everything works properly up to SU 2021 (which was the last perpetual version and my favourite one). Then I test on 2024-26. I personally don't give a fraction of a shit about SU 2022/2023, because they are currently available only as pirated versions.. isn't it?

It appears that I have handrail fittings mostly working now for both circular and elliptical curved stairs. However just as with the balusters we will need a separate handrail ext. for top and bottom and a rail drop for each side (inner and outer handrails). This means another six parameters in the curved stair menu. Due to the asymmetry or nature of these curved staircases there is really no way around it. Hi - I installed the plugin using Sketchup Pro 2026 (updated version), but I'm not seeing the toolbar anywhere! Should it show up normally? Not seeing anything in the Extensions menus or Tools menu either...

Yep, they acquired a few years ago and implemented that Free version. Epic is one of the few out there placing powerful tools into individuals hands for free. For a open source approach there's Meshroom: https://meshroom.org/

@hornoxx I have to let you know that I just did a little more learning about CapCut. I found out that some of the things I did in the two videos (in particular the Jesus Plaque Animation) I had used an external tool that I did not need to use. In particular if you looked at the videos, you saw some places where I placed text over a rectangular object (with rounded corners) that I could have done in CapCut. The more I learn the better I like the tool. I want to thank you for suggesting it. Now I am going to try to learn how to create some animations with Blender and the include them in some videos created with CapCut.
