How much vram on your 4060? What render engine do you use? I have just been down this rabbit hole

CURIC 2021 compatible plugins were just released this morning. (edit: nevermind - i just installed and they are not working....all kinds of load errors) (edited edit: I emailed Curic the errors and updated package was promptly uploaded. All good now. Tag folders - I have been dying for this feature for a while...now if they could just switch the name 'tag' back to 'layer'.... As far as the new logos.....see pic below... [image: kNxh_c4d.jpg]

Thanks for chiming, TIG Yes, the planes were on the ground plane; I never thought to check that!!! I guess I've always started generating line work on the ground plane and wasn't aware that even when hidden style is active, two or more planes won't display... I know what I'll do from now on; set my floor level above the GL. Easy fix. Thanks again.

This may not be too important to you, but make sure the m.2 drive is PCIE not SATA, much higher read / write capabilities. Make sure to keep data storage off of the primary drive (the 500GB 970 EVO), only use it for the OS and programs/ apps installation. A secondary drive would be better for data storage. Depending on whether or not you're going to be on a network with other computers, you may want to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro (it might be a good idea to check the capabilities / compatibility of the OS you're choosing). I know everything is about budget, but take a look at the 8700K and how much more it costs for that extra 500MHz base clock. See if you can get better than the standard thermal compound, like GELID, on the CPU & GPU, it makes a difference.

Speed and large file capabilities. They always say we'll just ask for more but SketchUp is always behind on what one needs for working on typical models for typical small building projects, let alone for adding landscape, and other models that are handled easily by other software.
