TIG Weld seems to be working fine in SU2026 for me. I also use Eneroth AutoWeld which will weld any edges that can be welded in a selection.

As it turns out, using the Extension Manager did not really uninstall the Trimble Scan Essentials plugin. However, do to some replies from others, I did get the issue resolved. OK, I finally got everything setup correctly now. It was kind of an awkward process but here is what I did: First I uninstalled 2026 Then I made sure all plugins were up to date in 2025 Then I clicked on the check for update in 2025 Now I ran the update option in 2025 to install 2026 When the process for installing 2026 ran, I deselected the Trimble Scan Essentials, Revit Importer and V-Ray Everything is now running fine and the Trimble Scan Essentials is finally gone and all of my plugins are installed and things are now the way I want them. Once again, I really want to thank everyone (on the SketchUp and SketchUcation forums) for the replies and insight of how to get things going correctly again. As I said in the original post, I have been gone for a while. Now I can get back to using SketchUp (latest version) again.

I am always so delighted when this thread appears! With this machine, I would immediately set off on my next holiday trip, even though I would still have to practise that diabolical laughter! In the event of a traffic jam on the Autobahn, EVERYONE would immediately form an emergency lane out of sheer awe for this thing!!!

OK, still moving on with the build. Sketchup diffusion threw a few wobblies after an update went south. Rayscaper still on it. The colour is antique white from the skp standard collection, looking to see if I keep the pbr collection, not keen tbh. Yes, times are changing, and I have little time for the changes. However you need to pick your fights, and not learning it as a protest would be a mistake. The AI changes to workflow are absolutely inevitable undeniably and this is just the beginning. When reliable Quantum computers mature it will be another leap if it does not kill us first

@Mike-Amos Glad you like it @Rich-O-Brien Yes, this one is rich, thanks for noticing it. @pixelcruncher Thanks a lot New 3d project 'Hetimasia'. Wikipedia 'Hetimasia[1] (from ancient Greek: ἑτοιμασία - hetoïmasia, 'preparation') or, in aged form, hetemasia, in Latin hetoemasia[2], is an iconographic motif in Christian painting depicting an empty throne symbolizing the expectation of Christ's return, his parousia.' The crystal base symbolizes the spiritual world. The starry globe represents Creation. The ladder and platform and characters represent souls ascending to god after death to be judged. The two characters in front of the throne are downloaded templates. I placed a red character on the last image so that we can better understand where the seat is. @fredo6 More and more puzzling. There seems to be something corrupted in the way Sketchup handles external files, including Ruby script files. In the trace file, I see that you have just LibFredo6, other of my plugins installed. The trace indicates that their startup sequences did perform well. So, the crash occurs after the plugins are loaded. In another forum, Dan Rathbun pointed out that the onExtensionsLoaded method of AppObserver is called right after the extensions are loaded. I found several extensions that have a derived AppObserver class. I'm not sure how to determine if any of them may be to blame or may be somehow interacting with Fredo_Tools.

@L-i-am I like the painting quite a lot. It's so much nicer after it was cleaned up and framed.

any future option on framing (wall and trusses) to include the plate end marks? e.g. [image: 1760383585038-549667a2-c6fa-4430-acec-674a60fa2261-image.png] also on the blocking (noggin marks?) etc.?

Yes, Rich Animator is great, but still much more complex to use than the animation tools of D5 render or Twinmotion. When I used it, I was able to render my animations with v-ray, but it was long, long
