No I haven't STL Not quite sure my experience is sketchup (2017) will only accept and recognize a SKP file, but I will say I am not experienced in all that acceptance. Thanks

I was using a software program called Transmuter by Lindale this program allows anyone to import a model say from blender and transform it into a SKP file so Sketchup (2017) will accept it. I was enjoying this software till they decided to start charging me annually rather than my one-time payment. So my question is there a plugin that anyone knows of that I can export a model and turn it into a SKP file? Thanks .

@Rich-O-Brien thanks, I will try. Just to expand I create a model in makehuman export to blender to pose then export to Transmuter which turns it into a skp file so sketchup will accept it. Now Transmuter that I payed for $80.00, 3 years ago wants $80.00 annually. So I appreciate your help.

@Box just wanted to let you know that you were right! It was the Logitech mouse software. I really liked that mouse. Now I'll have to go looking for a another programmable mouse. Thanks for your help. John

I appreciate your reply, if I knew there was a compatibility issue I would have never have downloaded it. What led me astray was when I checked this plug-in under the More tab it stated that .....Compatibility: v2017, v2018, v2019, v2020, v2021/22, v2023, v2024, v2025, v2026. Thanks for your help John

Looking for help. My issue is with Sketcuhucation Store tools. I've downloaded this plugin, the main button is supposed to get me to the store. This seems to not work. When I click on it a window pops up and says "Loading Click continue is page doesn't refresh". When I click continue nothing happens. Now I can get to the store thru the browser and download plug ins that way. Now this has been going on for me quite some time. I got a new computer for other reasons but the same thing happens on the new computer. I do not believe it is my computer but I don't know. It isn't the end of the world since I can go thru the browser but still I would like to know what I'm doing wrong or have others experiencing the same issue. Thanks John

@Rich-O-Brien i believe so, I picked the object than I either zoom or orbit, than I lose the command. now not all the time but mostly i have been using sk since 2008 so I'm perplexed. my only thoughts are one of my plugins, but I don't know.

2017 sketchup, when I choose a command such as move, as I zoom out to move an object ( with a three-button programmable mouse from Logitech that I have been using for years)to its desired location the command stops and I have to go back and pick that object and try it again and also it does this with rotate or any other command. I thought it was my computer lack of memory but since then I bought a new computer with 32 memory and it still does this, I have some plugin’s from Fredo and a few others not to say this is what’s causing it. This is new to me for I have been using this program since 2017 and it never did this. Could it be that one of my plugins is causing this?Looking for some suggestions to see if anyone else is having this issue. Thanks John
