Hey guys I am desperate for very high resolution/quality satellite maps, I use Placemaker and I also use Nearmap but the resolution is not that great, I have tried using AI to upscale but that too does not really solve my issues. Is there another solution?

@unknownuser said: You can use FredoScale to view the dimensions. Select a part of the model, then choose the Scale tool. If you mouseover the corners of the bounding box, you get the dimensions displayed in the status bar. Fredo I didn't know that...how neat! The display changes according to which grip you mouseover, thanks Fredo.

Hi, munkey: Is there not an initial Scene, or first frame, saved as starting point? It is best to post in the Sketchyphysics sub forum.

Hello, That would be a nice feature to add. I agree, getting the same structure in the PDF as is Sketchup would be very nice. If you add tis, make it optional, to allow people who have other interests to use it in the current way. Adding property/value to each node/component would transport the complete information available. Regards Hans-Peter

@walterap said: I'll try to explain my doubts. I started my work with the "simple templet meters" now wanted to move to "architectural design millimeters", using the dialog box "preferences" but nothing changes. What to do? It sounds to me as if you didn't do anything to load the new template. After selecting the template in Preferences>Templates, click on File>New. This isn't a bug so it shouldn't be in the SketchUp Bugs forum.

I am guessing here, and most probably will get corrected: If this was a circle extruded into a drum, I will bet that the circle is a closed curve, you did some outline with Tools on Surface to generate the eyebrow, then did perhaps a Joint PushPull to project it which sent some spurious signals to the program "behind the curtains". It interrupted its connection with the curve. Wrong? Oh, well.

You need to copy the petal off by 1mm then reverse its face... then all is well... there is only one petal so editing is quiet quick...test_hibiscus.skp[image: TVc4_test_hibiscus1.PNG] [image: Y6SQ_test_hibiscus.PNG]

Check out ThomThom's 'Cleanup' and 'Plan Tools' plugins. I think they would help for this.

It depends upon how you drew the staircase, If it is a component or group, open it for editing and select all of the geometry. Then get Scale and do the scaling operation. This won't have any effect on the material scaling. If you drew the treads and risers as components separate from the stringers, You won't want to scale the entire staircase anyway. This would change the thickness of the stringers. In that case you would want to Move a stringer and then adjust the tread and riser components separately. You could open the components and use Scale, Move or possibly Push/Pull for that. None of those modifications would affect the material. I think this is a common issue for folks because they can scale a group or component without opening it for editing. There are some applications for that but more often, it is the geometry that should be getting scaled.
