@unknownuser said: You need the left side to display the tree classification directory, which can only be returned level by level, which is very inconvenient. The tree folder operation is unified on the left side, and it is convenient to display only the model on the right side. I am not totally sure I understand what you mean. What I can say is that when viewing 'In Model' components, it will display them the same way how Sketchup's In Model components are viewed in the Components Tray. You can either view the first level (root) component definitions OR all the sub-components in the model.

Hi there, 1. I think most of the issues you are encountering are related to the wall geometry not being in a component, so please make sure that the walls are in a component. Not in a group! And that the cutting components are placed outside of the wall component, and not on bear geometry. If you need to convert a group, that already has wall cutters on it, follow the 3 step workflow of: Remove Cuts > Convert the group to a component > Refresh. You can read more about the various situations where you would need the 3 steps: https://flextools.cc/learn/wall-cutter/#Advanced-Operations 2. Make sure all the wall face normals are facing out, i.e. if you change the model's style to 'Monochrome' all white faces should face outwards ,and colored faces should face inwards. 3. It could be that because the wall was a group (If I'm not mistaken), some unwanted lines were created on the bottom of the wall. Those can interfere with punching the opening through when placing the door all the way on the bottom. If after converting to a component you still have issues with a specific wall, it could be some of the lines are divided and hard to find. Best to recreate the wall in that area and refresh the component so it punches a new opening. When the wall is a component, it should work a lot better, without extra lines being left behind or other unexpected behaviors that you mentioned above of sometimes cutting and sometimes not. If you still encounter issues, please send us the model and we'll gladly take a look. 4. Regarding having open doors on one layer and closed doors on another, I understand the benefit and we will try to integrate an option for that in future releases. Currently, the solution is to select all the doors (you can also select components that contain doors, or select non-doors indiscriminately, or even select the entire model) and run the 'Open-Close' tool. It will open (or close) all the doors in one click.

@driedeedesign said: Flexdoor, Flexslat and Flexwindow are awsome and worth every dollar/euro. Been doubting weather to purchase something else like Doormaker or Cabmaker … but it's quite pricy. And I was tired of looking for the right doors and windows on 3D warehouse every time. Your Dynamic components are awsome, and make use of all the functionalty already available inside SketchUp… Now I encourage you to go for the “FlexStairs" and “FlexCabin” maybe even “FlexRoof" if you dare …. gr. Frank So very glad! Hearing things like this is what keeps me going! I've got many additional Flex components planned. The list is long. A few are already working, but not ready for release yet. FlexStairs is on the list. What would a FlexCabin be? Or is it a FlexCabinet!? (Cabinets/KitchenWare is a whole world in itself...) How do you imagine a FlexRoof? What kind of roof would it be? How would it look? How would it work?

I believe in coding -1 is returned when a match is not made the use of + seems to create a bug in the ruby side to DCs minus works, so a work around is to use a variable, being positive at first, then changing it to negative after the ruby script behind the scenes has accept it =2*current("leny")*2.54-val where the attribute val initially = 5, then change it to -5 after the first run this is probably only required if you were relying on the index for your calculations

There isn't any way for LayOut to give you heights directly as it does for dimensions. If I remember correctly, TIG did a plugin that would insert them in SketchUp as leader text. You could use those or you could put them in the SketchUp view and replace them in LO with properly formatted shapes and text. You could put the leader text on their own layer in SU. Turn off that layer after you've finished with them in LO.

This reminds me of the way things had to be done in SU6 to get colour textures on terrain. The technique was set out in detail in a go2school video. Not sure if its available from them still - it was a great help to me at the time. The technique was to explode the mesh of the B&W, get colour imagery from Google Earth as PNG, Project as Texture, measure on mesh then use the tapemeasure to scale. Final adjustments were possible using the pin tools. Hope this helps!
