Is there a way to strip a dynamic component from all of it's attributes, so as to "freeze it in place"?

      explanation:
If for instance you use a dynamic component to create a repetitive picket fence, and then decide you want to erase one of the pickets, and or scale/rotate it etc. Depending on the characteristics of the dynamic component sometimes that can royally screw things up.
Exploding the main component may help, but then if it's a very complex one, all of the sub-components still have all sorts of attributes, that may cause components to fly around to all sorts of unexpected places in the model.

      So,
Maybe there is a way to strip the dynamic component and all of the components within to turn in into a simple component? (while of course maintaining the characteristics of similar components).
