@panixia that's fine. I was simply demonstrating what it would take for the OP to use the texture image they shared.

To visually represent pipes and quickly model them I would say Profile Builder. For accuracy you have Skeng as it comes with a library of flanges, brackets etc. That'd be my suggestion.

Have tried https://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=CopyAlongCurve ? You need a median curve to act as a central path for the object

@dave r said: If there's an raster images or raster/hybrid rendered viewports in your SketchUp model there should be a folder included with the .dwg export. Obviously you would need to send that folder along with the .dwg in order for the .dwg to open correctly. If the viewports are rendered as Raster, you won't have any vector linework in the .dwg at all. Thank you, this question was also relevant to me.

Happy that helped. Another thing that can help you get the correct alignment of the model between viewports has to do with the way you set up the scenes in SketchUp. for the elevations similar to what you show, I create a scene with the largest area first (either your north or south facade) and I zoom in so the model fills the model window. Select the entire house, right click on it, and choose Zoom Selection. Create that scene and then immediately select the next standard elevation view and create a scene. Go until all of your elevation scenes are created. Then in LayOut, set up the first elevation viewport as needed. Make a copy and select the next scene. here's an example from a recent furniture plan. I used Shift with the right cursor key to move the viewport in this case. [image: mtOg_VP.gif]

Just a quick tip without trying the file. If I am not able to solve the "solid problem" with Solid inspector I always quickly export the STL and open it with 3D Builder (Microsoft Windows free app). When you import the model into this app it says that the object is not a solid and there is single click option to make it solid. Then just Save it as STL or 3MF. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/3d-builder/9wzdncrfj3t6?activetab=pivot;overviewtab

WoW! Some really great results here! Unfortunately I could not get a reference photo straight on from sideview but it seems you got great results from "eyeballing". I learned alot from this and will use your tutorials to improve Sub divide modelling. Thank you all for your effort ; )

If you saved it as a template it wouldn't be in the Scrapbook folder. It would be in the Templates folder. [image: RWqr_Screenshot-2_9_20213_48_55PM.png]

There isn't currently a radius or diameter dimension in LayOut. I know that it has been requested (because I requested it) so hopefully it will be implemented eventually. I don't know how an extension in SU would help. When I need to create a radius or diamter dimension I just do it manually with a label.

I used Curviloft to create skin then add some cut loops to get more polygons so ThruPaint can texture skin with great precision. After placing textures and creating holes in used Transmutr to reduce polygons and keep texturing intact. Your finished model skin is not continuous and there is a great deal of holes and internal faces so I do not see a way for you to get great UV texture on that roof. And why not take programs who have SKP export format ? Moi3D (useful for transform Nurbs in SKp), Bricscad, PConPlanner etc... PconPlanner or Moi3D can be used as convertor !
