It is a tough call to make, with inflation and the foolishness going on around the world for a handful of Dick Taters. We all know cost are on the rise which goes for everyone and I for one would NOT like to be making a decision on sales methods. Do you throw it all on direct sales or look towards the 'hook' of reduced outgoing over the year? Both have the good/bad points so, what are you going to do? Like I said, a tough call, going the wrong way can ruin a lot of hard graft and with that a financial investment. I think we are possibly seeing the last of the lifetime licenses due to the unsupportable costs of lifetime support.

@juan974 said: I’m definitely interested, especially as I have a few other plugins currently in development and getting ready for release. I’d be happy to get access to the Dev Portal. Ok, can you logout of your account then visit our hoempage, sketchucation.com, login there. After login you should see a Dev Tools button in the top right of the page. If you have any questions you can email us at support@sketchucation.com

There is a thread in the SketchUp forum where they are looking for something like this extension. Here is a link to the thread: Alternative Viewer for Desktop I think your extension might be a good one for this.

[image: 1787933206206-shana-bandicam-2026-08-28-23-41-25-934.gif] SketchUp terrain meshes are now supported. For unknown reasons, lines generated when selecting different mesh points are sometimes incomplete. Anyone know the cause?

And I feel compelled to emphasize—for users of true path-tracing renderers—that the denoiser really compromises image quality. You only have to test it yourself: even though Rayscaper’s denoiser is excellent, a 1080p render won't be particularly sharp or detailed. Paradoxically, simply increasing the render resolution actually saves time in the end; once displayed at a smaller size or downsampled, the result is far superior to simply increasing the samples per pixel (spp) at a lower resolution.

yes Pixelcruncher these solutions aren't a gimmick any more, I don't know if you're an expert in this field, but yes, absolutely. However, it's a real hassle to offer to clients—it requires massive servers... Free AI models are pretty good, but they don't compare to paid solutions. Zpix, by Samuel Tallet, is a free PC app that generates really decent images using open-source models. However, it's best suited for creating single views and involves a lot of randomness. I couldn't really use this image for my client, but I put it on my site... [image: zpix.png]

@SteveDennis Hi there, not sure if this's what you're looking for or not. I tried your 3D widescreen with spacely.ai, using Realistic Render then Enhance to 4K. Hope this helps[image: 1787123638804-screenshot-2569-08-19-at-14.13.00-resized.png] ![alt text][image: 1787123727349-spacely-ai-standard-20260819071129-fs23u.png]

Hi everyone, I dug out my old 2012 MacBook with SketchUp Make 2017 installed on it. I managed to compile a compatible macOS version of the plugin. Hi everyone, I’m looking for a few Mac users who would like to beta test Terrain2Sketch. Terrain2Sketch is a macOS application I’ve developed to quickly convert GeoTIFF terrain data (DEM/DTM/DOM)into terrain models and import them directly into SketchUp. The beta is working well in my own testing, but now I need some fresh eyes to find the things I haven’t found myself. Here’s a short video showing Terrain2Sketch in action: https://youtu.be/SurAszSHoy8?si=ofxkDkcXzkXzgbuT SketchUp Terrain From 25×25m to 100×100m in Seconds SketchUp Terrain From 25×25m to 100×100m in Seconds If you use SketchUp on a Mac and work with terrain, I’d really appreciate your feedback. If you’re interested, reply here or send me a private message and I’ll send you the beta download. Thanks! Karl
