The picture you have uploaded is the reference picture or your render result? Without two pictures for comparison is difficult to give proper advice, but assuming that what you are after that kind of look and you have indeed the proper texture already, a high glossy reflection layer + choosing the correct size in the REPEAT section of the diffuse layer will be very important to achieve the look. Even using ThomThoms Vray Toys, as long as you are clicking Get Aspect before rendering. It will match SU exactly. If you are not in the latest 2.0, than turn off 2 point. I use a SU export every time I render and I have never had a problem matching the views.

it's in the wrong spot, but it's fine. For SU 2015 on OSX, you want the build that says: "Nov 14, 2014 2.00.25244 sketchup_2015_osx 32bit " even though it's actually 64bit. There was confusion over the changes between the latest service release for SU 2013, 2014, and 2015 on OSX. They all only have one platform that they support, but the 2015 version is 64bit only, whereas the other builds are 32bit only. On the windows side, there is a 32bit and 64bit version for 2015. We will move it soon, but in the meantime, there's nothing wrong with the build, other than where it's being listed on the website.

Same problem here too. The worst part is when you do not have a wibu key with vray inserted into usb. Vrlservice is constantly opening and closing, looking for license I guess, therefore icon of vrlservice in the dock is appearing and disappearing. This is blocking fullscreen mode of many apps like VLC, Power Point, AutoCad etc. Each time vrlservice is looking for license, app closes the fullscreen mode and returns to desktop etc. Right now, everytime I go out with rMBP I have to have a wibu key with me because viewing presentations and movies in fullscreen is impossible. Like kalu I also have to force quit the application when I want to shut down the notebook. Thank you for the fix in the next release

Vray for SketchUp is a known weak link. SketchUp 2013 on Mac has been very stable for me, too. Try disabling the Vray plugin and work with SketchUp for awhile. See how it goes.

Hey Kalu, Glad to help! We all learn something. Stefan, I hadn't even seen the rectangular lights at the windows. No wonder the render times were so high, that's a lot of competing lights. I used the global "lights" option to turn off all the light sources. My thought is that if you can't see the difference of the light in the scene with the GI on, you probably shouldn't have it in the scene. Andy
