      Hi Guys:

      I have to create a design park for kids for my comunity and I need help. I hope someone can help me to design this wind turbine, since they want some art include I think this would be great for the park. I try to build the turbine without any good result. If soneone can help to build I really appreciate.

        Look closely at the shape of blade profilation of the VAWT on picture and compare it with your design ...

        Flat side of the wing shaped blade is exposed to wind and it is also slightly twisted..

            So this is to be 'art,' not an electricity producing thing; it is not just a rendering but will be built. I would suggest posting your work so far, at least pics of it as well as specific questions about your problems.

            Did you search for product info?

              Use Tgi 3d creat mesh for the blades

                Here is a quick attempt at the blades. I suggest you learn to draw this with the help of a few plug-ins.

                i: draw the profile of the blade using some sort of Bezier curve plug-in (there are many alternatives).
                ii: draw a helix (using follow me helix plugin (just do a search on that name))
                iii: perform extrusion using the regular follow-me tool.
                rest is copy rote the blades.
