If it's not in the folder, look in the original installation set, and reinstall from scratch. BUT firstly also check that the new computer has FULL permissions set to the Plugins folder - Windows might have prevents some files being auto-installed, you need FULL permissions... See here... http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=508319#p508319 You can also get that .so file from SCF... http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=380121#p380121 Make sure you use the right one. Since you choose not to share your OS/version with use, please read the notes about usage and which version of the .so is needed for which Ruby etc...

I have had that Laptop for the last 2yrs I think. Its been so good that my next laptop upgrade will be another Asus G(what ever it is then). I still run a desktop with higher spec's at the office. But needed another option for presenting to clients or working from home. I use Sketchup, Autocad 2012, Vray4Su, Thearender. All of which work fine. The laptop is a tank. I'd call it more of a mobile desktop rather than a laptop. Like Rich said mine has a GTX560m 2gb which is a good card for a laptop. But I drool over the latest G75 with the GTX780m 4bg. Mmmmmmmmmm very nice.

I think it comes close to doing what I want but instead of stretching it scales. It may very well do what is I requested but if it does I'm not smart enough to get it to.

I love this somehow "cardboardlike" concept And like Dave said above - these renders are prima! (which renderer is it?) [funny: "sawhorse", in D it is a Säge(saw)-Bock(goat) ]

The way I think about locating the standard views is to imagine the part is laying in the bottom of a bowl and you're looking down into it.. Let's say that's the front view. If you want the top view, slide the part up the side of the bowl away from you. For the right end view, slide the part to the right and up the side of the bowl.

First I scaled everything up by 1000, used Joint PushPull to extend the face of the "stub" before moving it into position, then scaled the lot back to its original size. Kee 70-5.skp

Hi folks. Maybe using a threaded rod of 3/16 or 1/4 inch would do. Use nuts and washers at the ends. Maybe these could be in recesses so as not to protrude from the pieces of wood. Testing to ascertain that the rod can flex a little without breaking is recommended. Cut exceeding length with a hacksaw when the tightening is completed. File the burrs to avoid people from scratching themselves on sharp edges. Just an idea.

@pbacot said: @unknownuser said: n my instructions for assembly to customers I note this to insure proper placement. You offer this as a kit? Cool. In terms of instruction what I usually have problems is not where and when to put in screws. How the heck do you hold things in place--like the lid--while you screw them? (occasional garage "woodworker") Good work on the video. Thanks,Yes I offer it as kit.Easier to ship and I leave it up the the customer to figure out how to hold things in place but my instructions do offer clues. The lid is the most tricky but I haven't had any complaints as of yet.

@pbacot said: great job! How did you end up cutting the lid joint? I made lines where I wanted it cut at and intersecting with faces inside a group. By the way it took for ever to get back to a solid!
