I bought this small dinning table the other day to make it into a computer desk. Decided to draw it just as it is, same kinda screws and everything but the texture is off some what. I hate wood texture, it's so hard for me to work with and not have all the boards looking the same. Either that or it takes me like three years to get all the texture looking half way right. With all that said this forum has done nothing but inspired and help me to learn a lot!

      Thanks Kurt

Nice work on that table, Kurt.

As to wood grain textures, I've said it before, most of the wood grain materials you can find out there are just plain lousy. What can you expect out of a tiny little square image? I'd rather skip the textures than use those square image. I just use long images of wood that allow me to pick out different parts of the 'board' for different parts of the project as I did in this one.
