Well, if I remember correctly, you can turn off Hardware Acceleration in SU's OpenGL Preferences although that option was removed at some point.

Someone had this same question recently. They were exploding the image after importing it, too. If you don't explode it, the image will show when the component is open for editing. If it's not going to be used as a texture there's no need to explode it. If it is going to be used as a texture, it makes more sense to import it as a texture in the first place.

Je vous joint un fichier DAE avec lequel je n'avais pas de problème. Il y a du nouveau depuis avoir réinstaller l'image disque windows, Je me suis aperçu d'une chose lorsque j'ouvre un projet SKP et que j'importe directement un fichier DAE cela ne fonctionne pas, par contre si avant l'importation je sélectionne et désélectionne n'importe quel composant du projet alors l'importation fonctionne !

Yeah I'm sure gtx 1050Ti does the job. I looked more into it and it seems you're correct. My Cpu's 3rd thread hangs around %80 and goes to %100 sometimes so that's probably the issue here. Anyways thank you

The number of segments can be correct but, if the radius of the curve is very small, each of the segments length may be below the lower limit accepted by SketchUp.

Searching under LIDAR, NOAA has very good aerial images from a few years back. But I don't know how to get the LIDAR elevation data out or how to bring the images in at scale. You may need a GIS specialist to do that (locally we can download dwg files of the LIDAR contours). Here's an example of the resolution. I downloaded .jpg files of the whole island. Back edges are a raster display thing so they won't show if you are rendering in Vector or Hybrid. With SU2019, you could create a scene using a style that shows the Footings layer with dashes. You'll probably want to use the Wireframe face style with the dashes. Then in LO stack viewports with the different scenes so the footings can be displayed with the dashes and the rest of the model as solid, in the other viewport. This is much easier now in LO2021 since you can use a single scene for the two viewports and control which tags are visible and which tags use dashes.
