I've never seen anything like that. When I need to do this sort of thing, I generally do it with Offset and other tools. Too often I find there are places that require more knowledge and decision making than could be included in a script. There is an old G-code extension that draws tool paths that could be used to get you started with a template but Offset doesn't require all the data input.

Ok, Gang, Re-Verified - Icon size large option was checked. I deleted all older extensions, and moved all the newest ones to the proper User....Plugin folder where they should have been all along. Then installed them through the Sketchup extension manager Then I located where all the extension toolbar icons are that are coming in as too small. As mentioned there are a 12x and a 24x png image in each reference folders Here's what the GUESSING BEGINS? (Please let me whats wrong!!!!, probably everything!!!) Im guessing the 12x is linked to the Sketchup small Icon choice and the 24x to the large icon check box? As I dont want to mess with the creators code... I took a 24x icon did a (Save-As) and made a 48x icon in Photoshop. -Because it is more "blurry" I cleaned and sharpened it than saved it into the location of the developers 12x and 24x location. -I am guessing in the code it links to whatever the 12x image is to the small icon choices -And if you check the large icon "box" it grabs and uses the 24x -So since I have limited knowledge, to link the new 48x icon is out of my abilities....but -A can do a (Save-As) of the 24x icon and save it as (24xoriginal) so the paths will ignore it,(And I can put it back if it doesn't work). -Then rename the 48x image as 24x, so setup pathways will pick this 200% larger image. ????? How crazy is this way of thinking? If this does work, am I really screwing up things up? Thanks, Matte

Perhaps he is using AutoDesk's free Skp to Dwg AutoCAD plugin.

Sounds like a mapping issue. Maybe it wasnt set to Environment mapping?

This is a problem with Vray. You should be asking on the Vray forum or better, contact their customer support people.

Thanks for this reply. I will have to play about with proxies in my next model. It's not something I've done before. I've tended to go the route so far of having complex plants, etc. on a layer I open only when looking at or rendering a particular scene. You can use the factor 1000 and model without units in m (model settings), no calculations needed.

I'm not sure what other aspects of sketchup may be lost?...But saving as sketchup version 6 or below removes dynamic attributes, retaining the component and sub components.

Hi Aaron, i downloaded the Build edge Plan and installed it on diverent Versions of Sketchup. it is not possible to test it, allways i get the message "Build Edge pro has expired". 3 years ago i worked with this Plugin and Sketchup 2014, I was very pleased and all worked fine. i also tryed to install my old version, but i think it's not longer working, the last years i had not installed Sketchup and Build Edge plan. Now i would buy Build edge plan, but when i click on "buy" I will be forwarded to a Domain "http://store.buildedge.com/" Where there is no possibility to buy the Plugin ??? It might be an installation issue... If you have set the SketchUp.exe file's properties to always 'run as administrator' [or you right-click it and 'run as administrator'] this can mask issues which resulted from an incorrect installation initially [see later]. The downside of setting SketchUp this way is that you then prevent Image drag'n'drop. Windows Explorer always runs at the base level of permissions. Elevating SketchUp's permissions above that then causes an issue. Windows does not allow an application to affect another application running at a higher level. So drag'n'drop no longer works ! Change the setting[s] and drag'n'drop should work once again... SketchUp needs to be installed properly. Select the SketchUp installer's exe file, and right-click > context-menu > 'Run as administrator' This will ensure it installs and then runs properly later on. Being the admin, or having admin powers, is not the same as running it 'properly'... If you already have SketchUp installed you probably don't need to reinstall it from scratch. Close SketchUp, then run the installer as administrator as outlined above. When prompted choose 'Repair'. When SketchUp restarts all should be correct. Any Plugins etc should be remembered as before... If you still have problems try uninstalling and immediately reinstalling - running as admin etc...

The issue popped up again recently. Found it to be a Skatter issue after all. I could pull it up on a machine without Skatter plug in installed with ease...would hang forever on my machines that had Skatter installed. Went in and purged/deleted the Skatter reference on the non-Skatter machine....saved then opened in my Skatter machine (no problem) - then redefined the Skatter perimeters...and works like a charm. Unsure what the hang up is and once redefined the problem hasn't occurred again.
