Why not make a few assorted RevClouds in a SKP. White background, plan view etc Make a new empty Layout file and add them to it [copy+paste]. Explode them [into images]. Then save those into a custom Scrapbook [named RevClouds?] and use that in any Layout file as needed - resizing/scaling them etc as desired... They'll have a transparent ground and overlay if brought to front etc - layer than as desired too... Of course you could make your own. entirely within Layout...

Thanks for your replies guys. Didn't find those plugins before because their names don't relate to my search keywords. Canvas is the only one anything like what I was after but it isn't maintaining the glueing plane of my components. I have also had a 'Doh!' moment- I can copy and paste the component. Not something I have ever done before so didn't think of it at first. Not as convenient a method but works. Thanks Nick

I bought version 2 a while back, I thought it was awful especially how tricky it was with the orientation of faces. I stopped using it, buggy as anything. I then had a go with the Punch version (4.0) a vast improvement but still a bit "buggy" After persevering for about a year ( using now and again) Version 4.95 is very good indeed. I have tried a few (cheaper} render engines. Raylectron is the best money I have ever spent, and the support is second to none!

Hoping to revive this thread yet again. Does anyone know how to change the Focal Length rather than the Field of view? I can't figure out why that line is greyed out. I'd like to match to a Rhino camera and can only get Focal length from Rhino.

Would be great to have this functionality in Layout as well.

The load vray for sketchup button of this plugin does not work with vray 3.4 for sketchup. Any fix for this?

The error is is the first like: Error Loading File C:/Users/Jaydeep Dandecha/AppData/Roaming/SketchUp/SketchUp 2016/SketchUp/Plugins/vfs.rb It has nothing to do with the 'SketchUcation Plugin'. There is something incompatible with the version of Vray that you are trying to use. The Ruby version changed significantly with the last three SketchUp versions - often requiring an updated version of an extension to be installed... Your error report seems to suggest 'vfs.rb' is causing problems when it tries to load other files from its subfolder... and also tt's vray tools which needs vray loaded too... Can I suggest you download and install the newest version of Vray you can find... See if that helps. Failing that you must disable Vray - use the SketchUp ExtensionStore³ Plugins Manager - disable the 'vfs' and 'tt_vray_tools' plugins listed as enabled and restart SketchUp - the error should now be sidestepped.
