Hi
even if my comment dosn´t help you further in your matter, your customer will have a new kitchen as well!
Separated from this strange camera bug, your work is good really. To do such an interior simulation is more difficult than an exterior. The post pro transition between photo and VR is very well done!

SU Layout - How to set a custom Scale?
Hi All - I hope someone could give me any advice
For some reason a client wants me to do a layout in the scale of 1:87 which is a "Toy-Railroad" scale (which is also called H0 here) - for sure he wants to cut out his building in order to put it into his train model landscape.
I know, that I can edit any custom scale in Layout but I can´t figure out how and what I need to do in this window - although this question is probably already answered a 100 times here, I hope someone here could help me please ...

Some little Chocolates to Advent Season
These small pieces of chocolate may not be missing in the Advent season, at least in Germany

I have no idea why I’d rather eat those little things rather than the large ones…if someone wants to taste it:

RE: HELP - How to correctly set photomatch vs output (VRAY)?
hmm - as can be seen, within your Skup workflow, everything is fine and well done. So the problem seems to happen somehow within Vray. There are some "Vrayers" out there which certainly give you further help or advice...

RE: HELP - How to correctly set photomatch vs output (VRAY)?
Hi Martin
I´m not sure how Vray´s camera behaves because I do not use this tool.
So I made a little test with Shaderlight. Everything works well, as expected.
The essential size setting is always the height adjustment. A renderer always renders
the exact height of your SkUp´s viewport. So only the width setting remains variable.
Here is - you know that yourself, of course - recommended to set the same resolution, which
your used photo has or at least the same height-width ratio to make the post pro in PSD or
Gimp easier...Anyway, within Skup you've done a good and precise work...

Just a thought, does that van have a current MOT? With smoke like that it has to be a fail...
wherever the smoke comes from - it has not be manipulated by a VW software anyway

Pixero - this is a great work!

next to your great detailing in modeling and next to the great rendering- this is a beautiful house really!

RE: Special mouse for disabled person
Using a gaming mouse for example like Juju suggested is probably a good idea.
Here is a good and quite intelligent freeware tool for occupying(?) such special mouse keys and a
"how to use it" video shown on YouTube. -

RE: SketchUp 2017 Wishlist
I´ve just copy pasted my little wish from the SketchUp 2016 Wishlist

I want an improved 2D pixels export - regardless of the width/height-size of my currently used SkUp viewport. (As if I would adjust the output resolution within any render plugin)
I want that other SkUp users with their own viewport sice can export exactly the same file resolution as I do. Interacting by repeating the same output results with other users would be so much easier ...Even if there is a plugin for that, SkUp should at last be able to do this "out of the box"

RE: Which skp file is really linked and shown in LayOut?
...great! simply using the whole already done work of Project1 again for Project2 by relinking.
This LO thing seems to function similar to Adobe InDesign.Tank you for first aid today!

Then, in LO relink the SKP file to the one in the saved location.
Thank you both Dave and Kaas for your fast help!
Dave, could you please give me once more a little advice, how to proceed your described relinking within LO? I searched for such an option already but didn´t find it yet. (sorry again, I have no experience with LO so far but already recognized, that it´s worth to change that immediately)

Which skp file is really linked and shown in LayOut?
Hello All - Can anyone please help me?
I use SketchUp LO (v15) very rare and to be honest, I have no idea of it so far. Now I have to edit the file of a former colleague. From the placed Skup model, there are countless variations. I can open the file from Skup LO (Open With SketchUp) but the opened file is located somewhere in my roaming area and somehow renamed like this: 643420376_AutoSave_filename.skp. but not in the project´s directory itself. How can I find out which skp file is really linked and shown in LO?
I´ve done all the correction so far (namings and dimensionings etc.) but I´m not able to locate the Skp file itself or it´s directory location.I´m thankful for any tip

I had to use Google Translate for translating "Adorable" into German, a word that
I've never heard so far...All of Googles Translation synonyms fit on Dave's model as well:
"charming, enchanting, glamorous, bewitching, fascinating"

RE: [Plugin]SharpComp v1.0 2015-11-29
Hi Wikii
This is a wonderful plugin. Thank you for sharing that!
It automatically does what I often forget to do - namely to work with a second opened Skup, which makes things much easier often. One thing I have noticed which is worth to mention here: First after the initial SkUp file with the component is saved at least once, the "Edit Component" option will run by opening the second SkUp.
