Well, I see in the source several problems: Most likely suspect: Set.rb - it includes the Set class from the Ruby Standard Library which is incompatible with SketchUp's own Set class. There are modifications made to the core Kernel class, Object and Module. (And Fixnum and String) That's not including what REXML might do - it's quite a large library, and terrible slow! I think the Set.rb file is added for the sake of ReXML. I'd suggest you contact the author and point out the incompatibilities the plugin causes. Post back link to this thread so the author can see the full story. To the author or this plugin, should you read this - please have a look at this article I wrote about developing plugins for SketchUp: http://www.thomthom.net/thoughts/2012/01/golden-rules-of-sketchup-plugin-development/

You don't apply materials to an image (which is a texture itself). And the side wall textures are part the Match Photo image, they aren't a separate texture. What you might do is create a new material that looks like them and apply that to the faces in the model. In GIMP I have sampled, warped part of a Match Photo texture and applied that as a tiled texture in a model (don't tell anyone). But you might just start with a new wall material and adjust it to match the color and texture in the photo. In your Match Photo scene, Use the Style window, and edit the style. Go to the "Modeling" tab (last blue one) and turn off the foreground photo under "Match Photo". That will show you the materials you've applied to the faces while in the Match Photo scene. If you want to project the photo onto the model faces, Dave has done that, I think.

The e-mail got lost in the mail? One thing I should have added in my previous post is that you can think like a studio photographer for this kind of thing. You can place your model on a seamless background which is easily drawn in SU or you can even find a few on the 3DWH if you're lazy. Place your lights to provide the required modeling (as in shadows) and to light the background as needed. You can put lights behind the model if needed just as a studio photographer might. Making the background an emitter would be like placing the model on a translucent background with light from below/behind. Good luck.

Recommend you try 'Fraps', it allows you to modify the 'fps'. Also if you like making camera & objects animations easier I recommend you take a look at 'SimFonIA Animation Tools' because you can easily achieve more organic movements and it has a video exporter were you can also set the 'fps'. Cheers

Get current view was until version 7. Now there is add location - you can access it from the file menu, the GE Toolbar or the Window menu > Model info > Location tab. It will open a built-in GE browser where you need to go (and zoom) to your location, select the area and import that into SU. It will import a colour image now but the downside is that you cannot import your overlay image from GE.

@dave r said: Clean modeling as you go will pay off in the long run and you'll pay for sloppy modeling eventually. I really can't tell much from your PDF but I do see what look like some exposed back faces to the side of the arch and they should be addressed. I'd bet that arch has way more segments than it needs. I can't tell if its some artifact in the PDF but if the poch roof has a bit of a dome shape to it, it looks like there are many more segments in those arcs than you need. thank you for all of your help i went back and purged the components on everything and reloaded all of my components and now it works i was able to get it on the model and now i can see how its supposed to loook thank you again

Hi, My recomendation is to try to portrait the damage of the existing model with painted textures first using 'Photoshop' and then you can add definition with modeling. Be sure to search google warehouse to see how other people are making this types of models but above all check the 'Gallery' and 'WIP' on sketchUcation because I have seen some advance stuff there. If you want constructive feedback make you own 'WIP' thread to show the progress of your work. Cheers!

HI, yes, as TIg said, it is a known bug. Another simple workaround is to open the exported file, type units and set them to the units you used on the original sketchup file.
