    • RE: Where did default hotkeys go in 2015?

Thanks for confirming they didn't move to the Pro version or something silly like that.

Reinstalled as admin this time. Now they're back.

      Thanks!

    • Where did default hotkeys go in 2015?

      Hi,

I just upgraded to SketchUp Make 2015. I click on the rectangle icon on the menu, draw a plane, hit spacebar to go back to Select and... I'm still on the Rectangle tool. Click M to switch to Move, no that doesn't work either. L for line, nope. The letters aren't even next to the commands in the menus or on the toolbar.

Do you have to enable those somehow in 2015? They worked fine in 2014. I've already restarted my computer after installing 2015.

I'm not talking about custom shortcuts here, just the standard hotkeys.

      Thanks.

    • Update multiple wall materials at once

I'm having trouble finding a clear way to state what I want to do, so here goes:

I'm doing interior design work for my new basement renovation. There are multiple rooms in the basement, some are more complicated than your standard 4 walls and a door- lots of jagged corners, things jutting out into the room, alcoves, etc. I want to be able to quickly and easily update the material/color of the walls in a room without having to use the Paint Bucket tool and manually go around clicking every single wall every time I want to try a little lighter shade of beige, for example.

Any suggestions on how to do that?

      Thanks...
