      Hi guys,
So I'm about 6 months into a pretty big project, and I've been using color by layer as my method of coloring things. Therefore my base model, when 'color by layer' option in the Layers window is OFF, everything is one color.

Is there a way to make a style, or does one exist, such that it will mimic the behavior of the Layer window's 'color by layer' option?

My problem is that when I take my drawing into Layout, I have my Scenes set up so that when I import them, they remain exactly the way it looked in SU. However, when I edit the viewport, to pan or zoom, etc., then exit the viewport, the model reverts to the base colors of the model.

Normally I would be able to right click>styles>"style-used-at-time-of-scene-making", and my colors would go back just as if I used color by layer. But now I do not have as many scenes available in that path.

I think the reason for this is because as of late, I have started breaking chunks off of my master model and saving them as a separate model to keep the file size down. I think the reason I could switch my colors back to normal is that I somehow came up with a scene in my master model that used color by layer somehow.

I can work around it by just re-sizing the viewport and adjusting scale accordingly (in LO)

All in all Im just curious to see if you can have a style that colors by layer.
Also, can you import styles between models?

      Thanks guys
