    Hey guys I am desperate for very high resolution/quality satellite maps, I use Placemaker and I also use Nearmap but the resolution is not that great, I have tried using AI to upscale but that too does not really solve my issues. Is there another solution?

    Hey Mike, I'm sure you figured this out already, but when you first create the attribute type a number with the inch mark like 0" or 0' in the value box and hit enter. This will set the unit for that attribute to inches. This only works for the first time a value is entered. After that first initial value, you will need to use the attribute info dialog to make changes. In addition, you can use 0 to set it to text (not "Default: Text") and 0cm to set it to centimeters. If anyone knows a shortcut for setting the unit to Decimal Number, I would love to hear it!

It appears it is a bug then, cause in previous versions - sketchup 8 - that problem didn't exist. You could freely work with the forground option on and with transparencies both of the model and of the photomatched photo. Anyone aware of this bug?

    It could be that the axis tool is resetting itself back to the default every time the auto-save kicks in (which might make it seem like the axis changing locations from toggling the perspective).

    Extruding a face from a contoured terrain?

    Hi: An .rb is the filename extension for a Ruby script. Ruby is a high level scripting language used for Sketchup to automate repetitive, or multiple operations to achieve a modeling purpose. How to install on a Mac can be found here for a start: http://help.sketchup.com/en/article/38583

    The 'About SketchUp' should look like this: [image: 3kTO_Capture.PNG] for the latest version of v2014... You should be able to Install it in such a way that will update it to be the latest v2014. If it's offering a Repair and you choose that route, then can I assume it does not update it to the current version ?? Your ultimate option is to uninstall your out-of-date v2014, as it offers you: and then re-install it cleanly... It will keep any previous licensing files, custom Plugins, Materials, Components, Styles etc, but you will loose all toolbar statuses, dialog setups etc that are Registry dependent...

    I find that happens whenever I switch from Perspective to Parallel Projection. All I do to solve it is zoom extents, which works a bit like a "regen" in ACAD.
