You could probably accomplish this with a style, hidden geometry turned on, model transparency turned on a the things you want as hidden lines actually hidden. this would be good for mechanical draftsman though. maybe someone will have a better solution.

maybe you need to set 'Finder' preferences to show all file extensions, then you will see the .zip extension that needs replacing. [image: 296h_2013-02-2710.10.49pm.png]

Also my method, to only help ease the problem and retain the ACT scenes (for tweaking), is to use ThomThom selection toys. Use select all on selected layer and you can delete all the frustums in one go. C

@joergber said: Hi Tobi, thank you for sharing! Unfortunately I am not able to make it work ... (I only tried v0.5!) In milling mode 'Surface' I'm getting an error from the Java cmd prompt: Error: Wrong surface part argument! In milling mode 'Pocket' I'm getting an error from the Java cmd prompt: Error: 1 In milling mode 'Cut out' I'm getting an error from the Java cmd prompt: Error: Wrong cutout part arguments! And with mouse over the added parts the shown milling options seem to be screwed up ... The milling options and the milling mode seem to be incorrect. I would really like to make this thing work!!! Moin, Jörg Hi Jörg! So, we discussed a lot via email. I would like to "present" the result of our discussion. The problem was: to cutout something, a 3D model is necessary. Just a single plane is not enough. I hope, I can "fix" it in the next version.

In SU, a polyline does not exist. So it is now a series of connected edges. It might be considered a "curve" if it is welded. Are you getting any actual errors? Or how do you know its not selecting it? You might open the ruby console and try it again and see if any errors are posted to the console. Thanks! Chris

The library does not support Open Office. Perhaps something to look in to for the future.

@plesiosaur said: One note on Fredo Tools mentioned above: Be sure that the leader line format in the model info setting, Text>Leader Lines, the leader style must be set to Pushpin; if it is View Based you will get adverse results. If you wish to move the labels, either anchors or text part, just do it with ReportLabelArea, not with the native SU Tool. Fredo

Yea, I wish there was a UI manager. That SketchUp would allow users to create their own toolbars from all the available toolbars and menus. Maybe in the future - lets hope.

Adding these features would likely require a complete re-write of the Protrude plugin, and that is not something I am planning on anytime soon.

Jaha Tjena! He he. Just pointed out that libfredo is required for running Fredos plugins. (link above) Also IMPORTANT:Please make sure that you have full Read / Write permissions in the folder where you install RoundCorner

Thank you dukejazz for the reply. With the new version still no luck. The plug-in is loaded, the toolbar is shown, and the menu is added, but after that an error box pop up (see attachment). [image: HcS9_2013-02-2021.00.26.jpg] [image: wAno_2013-02-2020.57.30.jpg]

@jim57 said: What's the distinction between Extrude and Loft? In my examples, Loft seems to twist things up. i can't really remember anymore.. i have extrude by Rails,Lathe,Vector, and Vector to Object installed from TIG's extrude suite.. I tend to use CurviLoft for most surface creation if i'm staying strictly in sketchup..

Aerilius beat me to it, but here's my similar answer, anyway not easily without completely overwriting all of it's definitions and methods which would be risky unless you wrote it in the first place. the alternative is use RC to find and rename the plugin so it doesn't work for the next startup, and then do a restart. there may even be a plugin for that... john
