Fantastic Would you permit a little feedback? maybe there could be a further addition to the process - the pull down menu is fine - could there be an extra function after it (or replace it with) - an arrow button that rotates the grp/comp? this degates repeating the process if one gets the axis wrong (or bad modeling in my case) anyway Thanks again for a very useful plugin!! I just tested it in SU2019 and it works as expected. Perhaps if you share your model we can give you some help to tell you what the problem is. You could also try it with a very simple shape and see if you get a different result.

I actually tried it in Sketchup 2019.2 Nothing was happening at the beginning until I edit the SOURCE & TARGET "instance names" (not definition). It worked like a charm and It will make me save LOTS of time. You guys are champs! Tip: you can select all your source components in one go and enter their instance name in one time. Hope that helps anyone who got stuck:)

Click the "plugin" link then click download. It requires that the "source" instances be given the same instance name and the "target" instances also have the same instance name. The instance name is accessible through the Entity Info window.

It's a very easy fix - either the missing PNG specified in the HTML code needs adding to the HTML's file-set, or the HTML's code needs changing to find a PNG that does exists in its file-set. When I contacted thomthom before he got it fixed very quickly. But I've been in touch with thomthom by PM again recently - and this time it's taking much longer to fix !

Never mind. Thanks anyway. This one was free and was the one I remembered that existed. It is CompoScene's predecessor.
