Ah yea... it should... but it doesn't. It pre-dates QuadFace Tools. Added issue: https://bitbucket.org/thomthom/teapot/issue/1/add-support-for-generating-quads

@derei said: Hy, with the new changes brought by SU2014, maybe a list with working plugins would be useful ? Authors to add them on the list as they are modified/optimized to work with Su2014 / RUBY2.0... Maintaining a manual list would be impossible to keep up to date. The Extension Warehouse let you browse by compatibility filter, as developers have to check of which versions of SketchUp they support: SU2014 Filter Not sure if there such a list for the PluginStore, I'm sure the people around here would be able to jump in on that one.

@cjryan said: OK, I'm still having issues with Profile builder in SU8 Pro, not being able to see thumbnails. This first happened when I loaded SU 13. As none of the above fixes seemed to work, I removed SU 13 from my computer. That restored the thumbnails in PB. I have now upgraded to SU 14 Pro and am having the same issues with my 8 Pro. I dropped the new JS file into the plug-ins folder and got nothing but a bug-splat. Any help for me out there? Chris Upgrade to the latest version from Smustard. Use the MySmustardToolbar or find your original email with the download link in order to get access the upgrade. Cheers, Dale

@thomthom said: @sdmitch said: I am currently on a trip and wont be able to address any of these questions for a few days. ... "acid trip" ... NO! Senility!! I have posted a "corrected" version of Align & Distribute plugin on my blog. I had created a second version when some one requested the ability to just distribute, or not aligned, N/A. So when I updated the posting, I unfortunately got the plugin and the support files mis-matched. That is why the radio buttons didn't work. When you click on the plugin link, you will get a list of the contents of the zip file. This is not my choice but just the way Google Drive handles things. Click File and select Download. When extracting the contents of the Zip file, it is only important that the AnD_Support_Files folder be a sub-folder of the folder containing the plugin whether that is the SketchUp Plugins folder or some other. Normally you will want to pre-select the Components and/or Groups that you want to align and/or distribute but, if you don't, you can select the individually by left clicking on them and pressing the Shift key when done. To change the selection, press Shift and repeat the selection process.

FYI SketchUp 2014 Ruby v 2.0.0 - patchlevel 247 win32ole.so file is included Win32API.rb file is included, which is a wrapper into the newer DL library, but allows the older WIn32API style calls. %(#BF4000)[Do not copy these files from older Ruby versions into SketchUp's "Plugins" folder, (or any of SketchUp's folders,) for versions 14 or higher !]

@cotty said: For this you can use the shortcuts "l" (=line) and "a" (=arc) without the need for a plugin. edit: you can find an overview of the standard shortcuts here: http://dl.trimble.com/sketchup/2013/en/sketchup2013refcardwin.pdf I already have both on a shortcut. What i basically wanted was something i can program 2 commands into one shortcut. It sounds stupid i know, but it would be really useful for me. For Example: You have the letter X as a shortcut. With that you can put in circle and rectangle in it, so by pressing it once.. it will be circle, pressing it again its rectangle, pressing it again.. its back to circle. Call me lazy, but i don't work with toolbars, everything has a shortcut, and 99% of my work is speed-modeling.

So you have a 3d site model. Then you are going to flatten it? Then what? Thanks!

Ok. I did not see, or pay attention, that this script addressed vertices and not faces. I figured if you select a face, the vertices were understood. Keep in mind that I was throwing Groups. It just so happened that I did have an exploded group in one of my attempts and one face of that was selected. That volume was "extruded" or flattened as I repeated the vector clicks randomly. I was simply watching the behavior. Thanks for your attention to this. By the way, this script wouldn't have any issues with other plugins that may use a projection method(?), would it? Such as perhaps Didier Bur's Projections, or Fredo's Joint Push Pull by Vector?

Could user add gap on the material sides. Instead of making the texture seamless, user can insert/add gap (space)

It differs in that you first predefine a line around your object for site grader to adjust the terrain to (oh and the line doesn't have to be on the same plane), and then you set/adjust the grader width; in the image above I tried several widths until I was happy with 4metres. The stamp tool by comparison (while it has it's uses) is a very blunt instrument.
