Your recommendation solves the problem. But I am still could not understand why vray gives 2 different type of output. Why GPU accelerated rendering is different than CPU. Sorry for the late reply. Cheers.

Tiling might be too tiny that it appears as a color. Check the tiling via SketchUp materials and see if it helps.

[image: bu.jpg] Tried the default render settings and wasnt able to make it ok. The image always looked too dark in some detail, as if the contrast was too high. Post rendering photo editing didn't help. Where it was most noticeable was the keyboard so I tested this on the keyboard alone, and here I noticed something weird. I realized that the problem were textured materials. After turning off Linear Workflow on these materials, it rendered as it should. Is this a known bug? Do all the materials with textures have to have linear workflow ticked off? Image of the tests attached.

@Renderlessman I think high settings needs more memory, that is why carpet has black holes and incorrect fur.. Somethimes, closing and reopening the file solves the problem.. I Don't have any further information sorry..

Having two different materials inside a group shouldn't be a problem. The issue that I discovered with proxies in V-Ray 3.4 is that if you forget to paint just one face somewhere, and leave it with default material, proxy will break and model will be painted without any logic. So, see if you painted everything before you make a proxy, don't leave anything with default material.

As you can see from these topics, you are not alone: Exporting Material Textures From 3D Warehouse Models and Some questions about texture path. Apart from advices in those topics, i suggest you to do these: 1- Right click a material and choose 'add to model' (Under your 'Default Tray'). 2- You'll notice in your V-ray Asset editor, there is a new material added with similar name and properly previewed. This new material will work in your renders. (You'll also notice that diffuse path still seems broken but who cares ) 3- Apply your new materials Note: to replace new material with old ones in the scene; left click & right click to old material from Asset Editor and choose "Select Objects in Scene". Then left click & right click to your new material and choose "Apply Material to Selection". You might still need some manual adjustments because that author didn't apply materials well enough.

Hi, As far as i know such functionality is not avaiable yet. Check this response. There a Vray staff tells: @unknownuser said: Currently, batch rendering multiple scenes is done using the same render setup. It is not possible to use individual camera settings, including DoF, for each scene. Our developers are aware of this limitation and are looking into possible solutions for it as well as Batch render functionality enhancements.

@brooklynia373 said: I'm still wondering how to handle pre-gamma-corrected textures from the internet... I think all 8bit images (.jpg) are already 'gamma corrected' which means 2.2 gamma is already applied. I believe that's the reason why we define 'Input gamma' 2.2, so that Vray understands it (and it's by default in Vray 3). And if you have a 16bit or 32bit image (.tif or .exr), i think Sketchup Vray understands it automatically, so either way there's no need to worry. This pdf document explains it very well. Upgrade to Vray 3.4 and lean back (Not to mention it's significantly faster and has more features...)

Are you using GPU acceleration and do you have an AMD graphics card? If so it's not going to work as stated in here: @unknownuser said: Interactive GPU OpenCL rendering mode is currently not supported. If you have NVIDIA, try updating your graphics card driver and see if it helps. (Or disable GPU acceleration) If you take this scene directly from Vray 2, it might be problematic sometimes. Check this article: Migrating from Previous Versions.
