Hello Tig, thanks for your recommendation to contact SU support. They analyzed my Bugsplat Report and suggested to update my graphics Card Driver (NVIDIA Quadro 2000d). After Updated to Version 9.18.13.3250 the Problem is solved. Thanks again Uli

Ah good! At least that saves you from shuffling disk space around, but to use your plugins you cannot launch SketchUp via SKP on another drive until the fix is out. Sorry for the inconvenience.

As Dave says, many of the EW & PluginStores versions are now compatible with v2014 - some just 'were' already! If you have 'other' plugins from elsewhere - and there are no obvious updates available - then you can try moving copies over... but do them individually, and restart after each one is added, to see if that new addition breaks v2014. If it produces errors, then disable that plugin and contact the author about an update

When this happens to me I close the window if I have open windows where the tool bars are intact I save those and reopen su and the go back to normal.

I am having the same problem. It is driving me crazy. I want to rename a unique component, don't even get to write anything, just click on the Definition Name field and it pops the dreadded message. I also discovered that it pops up only the first time you hit the Definition Name field. If you deselect and reselect the same component, go to Def.Name field, it will not show the warning.

Vray for SketchUp is a known weak link. SketchUp 2013 on Mac has been very stable for me, too. Try disabling the Vray plugin and work with SketchUp for awhile. See how it goes.

Okay I think I've resolved the issue, the selecting is not 100% but after installing a new APU driver from DELL I am able to use the select tool quite a bit better than before!

You probably don't need to uninstall and reinstall SketchUp.

I have pro 2013 and have successfully loaded the toolbar and it seems to work though I have not tried all of the functionality yet. I have imported a scene from google maps and with it the geolocation of the project (prior to installing the north angle toolbar). On google maps north is always straight up. When I use the north arrow to display the north angle it is around 27 deg off. This could not be the magnetic declination difference since it is only 8.8deg for this area. How does the default north arrow calculate the default position if not from the geolocation? I have moved the default axis many times while modeling, could this have caused the confusion? Is there a way to get the north arrow to snap back to the geolocation? see attached

Aha! Yes, it is reasonably easy to cause a string to appear at the right hand end of the menu bar. It's an option on the login settings. Also, your system definitely indicates Mountain Lion (10.8.5). Nothing seems excessively obsolete on your reported hardware, so it seems likely to me that you are right: the issue is with Podium not liking your graphics card or perhaps simply needing more hardware resources for a model as complex as you are trying to render. I am not a Podium user, so I can't offer any insight about that but perhaps another sketchUcation member will chime in...
