Is there a plugin that would export list of component names, definitions and perhaps other details to .csv file
And the more tricky part - to import back the new filenames after you are done with editing?
Or a plugin that would list all components with details in an editable spreadsheet within SU?
If Bloemfontein is somehow showing up twice, it shouldn't. Maybe I did something wrong but I only added it to the component definition description.

This is SketchUp to Revit, not other way around...
Thanks Oli for notifying me about this. Unfortunatley, even though part of my work is support for Podium, it is only for Windows. For Mac, I will let Nick know about this, he might be of better help then me.

Is there a geometry aware tool for cables? Fox example if you have a table lamp and a wall outlet and you know cable is 6ft long - is there a tool where you would select endpoints, enter lenght and have it randomly generate cable between the two points, accounting for geometry and gravity? I'd pay if there was such plugin to buy.
I am having the same problem. It is driving me crazy. I want to rename a unique component, don't even get to write anything, just click on the Definition Name field and it pops the dreadded message.
I also discovered that it pops up only the first time you hit the Definition Name field. If you deselect and reselect the same component, go to Def.Name field, it will not show the warning.
