Actually a better plugin for someone who writes plugins would be a UI that shows all current .dwg layers and next to each layer is a tag selection box. this would allow me to move thru reassignments with ease. But even better would be that every piece of geometry then gets grouped and tagged with the new SKU tag and the geometry within is assigned to "untagged".

I'd import that into Blender and try using either a Decimate or Remesh modifier to reduce the point count to get something usable in SketchUp. You also may have many duplicate points in that mesh which would cause chaos in SketchUp so some cleaning would be needed in that area too. I tried importing a 64,000kb monochrome .dae into Sketchup and that was completed within 30 seconds or so, but working with it was pretty much impossible. I tried running both a cleanup and converting triangular mesh to quad, but both failed. I've previously imported a small 3D scan of a room complete with textures as a .glb from an ipad and that worked great, but anything beyond that is a world of pain.

Did you restart SketchUp? Are there any errors in the Ruby Console?

I don't know. That's all i could get from them. I can't risk trying to install again to see if it would happen again. VERY STRANGE!!!!!

Strange. I cannot reproduce it. Can you attach the model and give some details on which SU version you use.

The problem you are encountering is with the payment processors. That could be related to any number of issues outside of our control. Both PayPal and Stripe are well known and secure methods to accept payments online. PayPal are declining your card did you contact them?

Yes, saving your own needed presets for having them available further on is the essential benefit from this tool and was my intention for making this tool (in a much easier version) about a year ago. By the way, having easy access to standardized export settings is an underestimated point because it makes live so much easier in any downstream workflow such as layouting or so. And you don't have to care about your own sketchup setup anymore. You or even anyone else will be able now to reproduce your own absolute identical export results again and again any time you want. Best, and I'm glad that everything is going well now. Ps: don't forget to setup AND SAVE your remaining 7 possible presets Hitting the Save button saves ALL your done settings, not only W x H. When you close sketchup and reopen it any time later, your ViewportBuster will then open with YOUR own presets...

I'm having trouble exporting the DXF in Sketchup 2025. It doesn't save the file at all. Any help?

Why searching isn't native I don't know. But this is a huge timesaver. I don't even need to have them as libraries in SketchUp to search them now. I can just pull them in using this. My wishlist item would be thumbnails but its not a dealbreaker. Great tool as is. So fast too!

Please run the Window > Libfredo Settings > Fredo6 Plugins Information for Sketchucation Support menu command in SketchUp and copy/paste the output into your reply. Please do the above for both versions of SketchUp
