Yes. Curviloft could do it if you create some vertical separation between the inner and outer shapes. It would do it quite nicely.

You must have a suitable object selected before this tool will appear in the right-click > context-menu... Assuming that it's been properly installed... what are you selecting prior to seeing if the tool appears - or not... Re-read the usage notes here... https://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=TIG_Descaler

... obviously not a simple geometry and a not yet clarified geometry I measured any angle of tilt of the balustrade (somewhere down) with about 14°. If this inclination were 14° throughout, the slide would look like a broad funnel but a coplanar surface would be present at least. (please see files below) So I think that the tilt of the balustrade obviously varies and isn´t coplanar?(second pic. = only schematically) Could you please integrate all existing DWGs into your model? Are there any other section drawings or better elevation plans available? [image: T9yG_Slidehx1.jpg] [image: r572_Slidehx2.jpg] Slide hx 1.skp

@tig said: You might have a second Plugins folder unexpectedly set up in ProgramData path as well as your main Users Plugins folder which is always present. This extra path occurs when you have installed a plugin which has a custom installer and puts its files in there. Typically these are tools like renderers. Having extensions install in this secondary path makes it accessible and loaded for all users on that PC, unlike the User folder which only loads for the named user... Some experienced users also use tools like Fredo's AdditionalPluginsFolder which allow you to have an extra folder set up in their 'load_path' - thus also allowing selected plugins to load from a central repository. rather than the user's default Plugins folder... There is a known 'glitch' with the SCF AutoInstall when there are more that one folder available in your 'load_path'. A dialog opens and asks you to choose the destination for the RBZ's installation - initially highlighting the default User file - but on some PCs the button which must be used to confirm the destination is not visible, so the only option is to close the dialog - the equivalent of a 'cancel'. However, there's an easy one-off solution. If you grab the bottom edge of that dialog's frame, using the mouse cursor, and pull it downwards, by only a few mm, then the confirmation button becomes visible. Click it and all is good. Next time that dialog opens its previous size is recalled from the Registry , so then the confirmation-button is immediately available to click. Thank you. I'll try this first later & will report back

Oui, je vais peut-être tenter ça. Utiliser uniquement (dans un premier temps) le panneau structure et nommer tout. Il ressemble à s'y méprendre aux calques Illustrator que je connait bien.

[image: 4MYq_GIF_acyl.gif] [image: 6doo_arbo.jpg] And then use the cool free Real Time SimLab Composer Lite Vf (maxi 1920 * 1080) (texture with the free cool onlineSumoPaint ! Cool ! Merci. J'ai finalement réussi à percer mes épaisseurs de manière classique. Mais le plugin VisuHole à l'air d'être trop top (pas encore testé).

To assign another layer to selected object[s] there are two dropdown lists of layers available to choose from - one in the 'Entity Info' dialog and the other one in the 'Layers' Toolbar.

Well, I bought Sonder's book and had the Brightman one. Got to say, from a personal preference Sonder does work to a more design freedom approach. Brighton's is great, don't get me wrong, but the processes laid down I just felt difficult to maintain in those first creative stages where you are bursting with ideas and just want to get something done quickly. I think Nick Sonder has that at the core of his approach, that ultimately the more freedom you have, the better you'll design, which is why he avoids plugins that add complexity or lots of layers – he is striving to keep the workflow simple so that you design better. Glad I got both, I feel I am well on my way with my SU journey, even though I am making plenty of mistakes, I am starting to be able to produce some nice work already.

Sorry I couldn't just give you a key to press to make it all clean. Unfortunately there's no substitute for keeping your model clean as you go. Some people will claim it takes too much time to clean as you go but it's actually less time consuming to model cleanly than it is to repair the model later. Best wishes.

You could try adding the co-ords to 'Geo-location. Dont how accurate it would be tho.

I agree with @cotty that you are most likely thinking of backup .skb files, because on the face of it this seems like a silly question. Once you are comfortable that your .skp file is finished and you have made a copy somewhere in case of a computer crash, there is no need to keep the .skb backup files around. They are created so that all is not lost if you make a mistake or have a SketchUp crash while editing.

@dave r said: SketchUp does not randomly create materials old or new.You might wind up with unused materials if you insert components from the warehouse for example. Those materials will remain in the In Model materials collection even if you delete the components from the model unless you purge them. It's also possible that certain extensions add materials to your SketchUp file. Do you have some rendering extension installed? Thanks for the quick response. It will take an identical to what I am using material and name it the same name plus 1. This happened before I used extensions also. I was using Translucent Glass Sky Reflection. Went to lunch and now there is a new one called [Translucent Glass Sky Reflection]1. When I delete it 6 windows are effected but copies of that same group are not. When I fixed it before, it was all copies of that group because I had not noticed it before I stared copying it. Now after fixing it once there are 6 with the new material.

@oceanembers said: Select what you want to randomise, then run this from the ruby console. Quick and dirty but it'll do the trick... On another note, does anybody know why rand(2.0) isn't giving me floats? Nice it works really good. Thank you. @pilou said: Maybe this ? And you have always also the fabulous Randomly Components replacement by Sdmitch! Wow s4u transformer is even more than I was looking for. Looks great! Thank you!! 15$ are well spend on that plugin.
