No on my Windows 11 laptop the 2 entries are present. If an application is not visible in the list of applications, it could be for several reasons, what I would do first is check in the registry if the entry in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall ", once you do a search on "SketchUp 2023" which for my part with the latest version gives the following result "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall{6af6b504-1cb0-504c-f20f-061179014e6d}" If you find that without any approach, look at the line named UninstallString and take the value MsiExec.exe /I{6af6b504-1cb0-504c-f20f-061179014e6d}. in my case. Executing this command starts the sketchup setup. If you don't find anything, I would reinstall sketchup 2023, simpler than manual cleaning. There is another one for troubleshooting at Microsoft https://download.microsoft.com/download/7/E/9/7E9188C0-2511-4B01-8B4E-0A641EC2F600/MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta.diagcab But it is a tool that requires a certain amount of experience, so be careful, it is necessary to take some precaution, such as a backup system at least, see an image of the disk.

@tuna1957 said in anamorfosi: @luisto Did a bit of searching. Found some older posts asking about this. It led to the suggestion of a couple of plugins. TIG’s “Projection to Ground and Didier Bur’s “Projections”. Check into them. Mille grazie.

@pace514 I installed the font and tried it. It shows up as Lato Hairline and it does work for me as 3D text. It's very thin. How tall is your text supposed to be? [image: 1711936895933-screenshot-3_31_2024-9_01_41-pm.png]

I see you are using Eneroth's Laser Tools. Why not add Eneroth's SVG Exporter to get them into Lightburn.

ouch me! - you meant the original page, of course. I had already updated the link to your new page and the obvious disappeared from my perception [image: 1710699092904-3162056d-18f8-4f56-a6f5-42194ebec02f-image-resized.png] many thanks!

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. I made these connections some time ago and you can only see the radii if you look at them from close up. They do not bother at all. And these parts are very small, compared to my current project. I am doing this with a 3mm router, so the radius is 1.5mm, which will not bother you at all. The Dimension tool will dimension arcs just fine. You can use inferencing to draw a radius to the center if needed or you could use Arc Center Point Finder to place a guidepoint at the center. [image: PUuy_Screenshot-2_27_20248_38_31AM.png] If you were to update to the current version of SketchUp there's a native feature for placing a guidepoint at the center of an arc.

Sorry. You didn't explain very clearly what you want to do. There is a Trimble Connect Sync app that can be used to bulk upload files to your Trimble Connect storage. I'm not sure if it's available for non-paying users but you could look into it. [image: F5B3_Screenshot-1_2_20247_59_02AM.png] You can also go to your Trimble Connect storage in your browser and then drag and drop files from the folder on your computer where you keep them. As a SketchUp Free user you get 10 Gb of storage.

Hi Alohaa, This is a common issue when scaling objects for 3D printing. What is happening is that you've scaled the object itself down to 50mm, but the internal units are still set to millimeters from the original 500mm length. The easiest way to fix this is to apply a unit conversion to the object after scaling. For example, in your case you would: Scale the 500mm object down to 50mm (10% scale),Then under the object properties, change the unit settings from millimeters to centimeters. This will convert the new 50mm size to 5cm, matching the scaled units.A "free printable template" is a pre-designed layout or pattern that you can download and print out at no cost. These templates are often available in various file formats like PDF, Word, or image files, making them easily accessible and printable. Now when you export or load it into your slicer, it should come in at the correct 50mm length.Basically you have to make sure the object units match the new physical size you've scaled the object to. Applying a unit conversion after scaling accomplishes this.Let me know if you have any other questions! Proper scaling and unit setup is crucial for 3D printing prep.

@alohaa said: Unfortunately, there are not only straight lines, and the curves are not regular. You only have to trace a single edge segment in each character to get the face to file. You don't have to trace the entire character. You've been using SketchUp long enough by now that you must know that SketchUp represents curves with short edge segments. @alohaa said: I'll see how easy it is to do in Inkscape./quote] There's no point in going back to Inkscape for this. @alohaa said: What I don't understand: how could there be faces in a drawing that is flat and where there are only lines? I don't understand what this means. You can have edges in SketchUp with now faces. There's nothing for Push/Pull to do until you add those faces, though.
