thank you for the new release. I noticed two bugs with this release it does not Support SketchUp material inheritance anymore. Faces, or objects that have the default material painted on them, but the group that they are in have a material, show up as unpainted (with the default material). the rendered images have a watermark on the bottom, even though I have a license (and I doublechecked that it is connected) [as a side note, any idea when you will connect the sketchup pbr materials to the rayscaper material properties, so that I don't need to set up metalness, roughness, etc, twice?]

I can concur, the denoising element alters quite drastically, the resulting image. I noticed the HQ option is gone but frankly the denoising selection moves things on lighting wise too. I figured there was not much value in making it explicitly configurable. If there are issues, I can bring the setting back, but I wanted to simplify things. Something that did not change is how some mats are missed, either in import or render. Thbere are three glasses of 'apple' juice on the breakfast bar, one is rendered correctly while the other two are incomplete despite this item being a component, or perhaps, because of it? Lights I have not looked into just yet. Do you mind sharing the scene? Or if you have a simplified version that has the same behavior? Then I can have a look. I see that you have a watermark. Is that because you haven't activated your license? Or does it always appear for you?

The rate of improvement is staggering. Would like to see the heat generated by the AI infrastructure utilised better.

You can use Extensions > Sketchucation > SCFLicense Gloabal Status to check your licenses Toposhaper requires Libfredo to be installed to fully function. If you run the Window > Libfredo Settings > Fredo6 Plugins Information for Sketchucation Support menu command in SketchUp and copy/paste the output into your reply I can take a look at your setup.

OK, despite some issues I have gone ahead with a HQ render. A better setting with the seating area. too. [image: 1756831742566-1-hq-1000s-2081-x-1160-420129-tri-2m-42s-gpu-resized.png]

Try my suggestions of softening and hiding the edges. You could also consider radiused edges instead of the hard square edges you have.

.blend to .skp is definitely needed. I’m gonna test this later this week as I’m curious on how you manage modifier stacks.

I am using the stiffness method per Ch. 15 of R.C. Hibbeler’s book, Structural Analysis. For intermediate loads between supports I use (FEM) fixed end moments. I’m actually still working on the matrix analysis piece. I’ve got point loads pretty much in place I’ve just got to implement distributed loads next. I suppose I could have it generate the entire polynomial for both shear and the moments since I am generating them for each applied load, it is probably just matter of using superposition on them as well. Here is a first look at the ability to switch between various load cases for the deflection graph: [image: 1756721460278-loadcases.gif]
