Noticed another thing. I had selected some faces like this: [image: file.php?id=17984&mode=view] When I minimize and restore, the selected edges are now suddenly smooth. I'm now seeing the opposite effect I saw from the V-Ray light sphere. What gives? Such oddity.

Yes, even though I update the style to have no textures or transparency SU still turns them on. ECS might close the Material Window, but it's still annoying that it pops up in the first place. Wether I have to use the mouse or keyboard to close it, it's an extra step I'd like to skip.

I see. I never looked that that class yet. I just saw the UI::Menu class and thought that was the one. And there was nothing on the constants there. It says that UI.Command is the preferred way to add toolbars and menu items, but why? what's the difference and benefit?

Im having the same problem.... for some reason su 7 just really sucks compared to 6, glitches and splats everywhere. I have to toggle between projected and regular model space just to work on the stupid thing half the time. Mabee has something to do with the free version? I had to reformat my harddrive and I lost all my pro student versions....

The effect of how many sets you use are as following: 1 set: The origin of the texture, width and height is taken from the material width and height 2 sets: Origin and scale+alignment 3 sets: Origin, scale+alignment, Skew 4 sets: Origin, scale+alignment, Skew, Distortion

Yeah, thats a nice solution William. Is there a way to better design the options dialog box? Perhasp there would be some way with the html tags to make that a popup message or something that only shows up if its too large of a value. Maybe? Chris

Ah. I reset the component and now all the custom Attributes are gone. Thanks for clearing that up.

+1 I'd hate to think that the feature never gets added just to try and keep backwards compatibility. By time we get to verion 10, I think people will be more upset if DC's haven't been improved since v7.0 than if they don't have great backwards compatibility. Chris

And what's more: had I tried it directly in SU I wouldn't have had that problem because the SIN function then sakes degrees and not Radians... doh!

Sometimes I've found that I have to click on the component with the scale tool to get the scale handles to appear. Does that help in the example in your last post ThomThom? Chris
